Cracks me up every time I'm in an airport and see those things still in use. Seems like every airline still uses them at the gates, and they are probably one of the very last customers of new dot matrix printers, printer ribbons, and tractor-feed paper.

Yep. By this afternoon things there were fine. As soon as the sun came up this morning the snow started to rapidly melt. My flight was ridiculously full, and had some of the slowest boarding passengers in history, but we still arrived at IAH a little early.

That was my roommate before we parted ways when I met my wife (then girlfriend). All he did was play WoW and go to his job where he rang up prescriptions in a pharmacy all day. I would invite him to go out with a group of us where there were actual real live girls involved, and he almost always turned it down to go on a raid he had been planning all week. :confused:

The guy had a BS in Economics from UCSD. He wasn't a moron or anything, but he sure did have some priorities out of whack.

Enterprise car rentals still use them and they have carbonless multisheet forms too.
