And the SD card issue, I've never had. In fact, my wife's new 4GB card was not being read by her brand new Dell for work, so I popped it in my Mac and it worked fine. Still have not figured out why it does not work in hers.

I'm constantly using the shell across networks and can't imagine doing it on Windows.

I dunno, I use a PC at work and a Mac at home, and to be honest, neither is perfect, but Windows has some aggravation points for me.

Sure, there are people who use Macs because they're "cool", but some of us actually have a functional reason for using them and we're not part of a cult. I think some of the recent decisions by Apple were really stupid (the glossy screens for the 13" and 15" MacBook and MacBook Pros).

SD Card issue, 8GB cards, take from camera, put in a winbox and read it, then try to open it on a mac. (btw I hate the term 'PC' for a winbox, they are both a PC having the same parts now! just a pet peeve) I have yet to find a MBP that will do this properly, I have tried 3 school issue Mac Pros and an iMac as well. If you use it on the mac first it will work fine, then to the windows, then to camera.
What I am saying generally is the interoperability between windows and mac in sharing devices as simple as a media card are very lacking.

My problems with the UI are 100% personal preference.

Network CLI, windows has the incredibly nice powershell and also old school dos can do more than you think :)

Got a bag check at ONT this morning. Bag was cleared just fine but I discovered that I left my MP3 player on the plane last night in my dazed state. Baggage services was closed this morning. Kissing it goodbye, I think.

Maybe it will still be on the plane, was it in the seatback pocket ?

M:rolleyes:rning, b:rolleyes:x -- I'm back from FLL and headed to LAS in a couple of hours. CO's breakfast in F on the FLL-EWR flight was quite . A big plate with a tiny croissant on it. For some reason they also served salt & pepper.

My EWR-LAS has one empty in F and I'm first on the upgrade list ... for now. At least it's a 739 with in-seat power :p

I almost did a little fist-pumping into the ribs of the super-tanned.

The only road was closed. Closed. As in, not moving. Nowhere to go.

People had shut off their engines and were laying out on their cars (was actually rather amusing). It's just one of those things that you can't do anything about, and you just deal with it.

This car full of Staten Isl. turds takes it upon themselves to try and sneak through the traffic and get as far up front as possible. Really?

I wouldn't turn my car back on to let them sneak by me and they puffed up their feathers and started yelling at me. I gave them the biggest  I could muster and they backed down and figured out another way to move 3".

By the way, Family Guy was actually rather amusing last night. Glad to see it's not a completely lost cause. Although, what the deuce is up with the show before it.

Yup. And a bowl of .

What's bizarre about those flights is they do a "full" catering for lunch and supper. Why does breakfast get short-changed?

I've always wondered this as well. I've had some fantastic dinners on flights to/from PBI but the breakfasts are an absolute joke.

Are you Michael Savage? I used to listen to him at work as he was the only non country music on at the hours I was in (then Phil Hendrie after him, nice faker there!) he wanted to file ricO charges against anyone he disagreed with.

We'd have a REALLY screwed legal system if Weiner followed up on all his ricO claims, most would be frivolous too.

And in the back they got a breakfast burrito. I was tempted to ask them to give me one of those, (Xyzzy needs his eggs!) too -- but I fell asleep :p
