I'm on a roll today of good fortune. I almost have my claim settled with my hit and run driver via Ryder Truck Company. I got my late fee and finance charge reversed with Citi MasterCard. And I filled The Box's poop quota.
Does anyone want me to assist them in fixing something today?

Can you get my outbound NRT BF waitlist to clear so I don't have to be all sad that my friend I upgraded with my miles is showing BF and I am in Y! ;)
I got the email earlier informing me that: We're sorry, but continental.com was unable to complete your request due to a technical problem. Please try later or call 1-800-300-1547 for assistance. |

If you had a day to kill at LAX and wanted to go to the beach, where would you go? Is the beach right next to LAX an option worth considering or is it best to drive somewhere else?

If your intention is to go in the water, don't go to the beach by LAX, there's a nice Chevron refinery right around the corner. ;) |

For those of us in non-hub locations, I received this e-mail today. There are some pretty decent prices to Europe from SFO, but I haven't checked flight from other non-hub cities. I found flights SFO-DUB for around $321 a/i at the beginning of May. I apologize in advance for the funky formatting as I cut and paste.
E-mail offer: That is a great deal for DUB. |

I'd consider driving down south a bit to Manhattan Beach.

Since fares to FL and the Caribbean are quite pricey (spring break ), I thought about making the trek out to CA. I may try out a mix of VX and UA ps in the process... |
