Why didn't you move then?

I've slipped back to CO plastic status:( in the fast few days so I can only go to the back of the bus which is nice and empty at the moment. I'll wait until airport check-in to make my move to see what other stupid things people do in terms of moves. Right now I know there's no one sitting in the middle seat and if someone decides to sit in the middle on an empty flight I'll toss them out the  door for being perhaps the  person in the world.

:D That's funny. CO never seems to offer SFO for cheap flights.

For those of us in non-hub locations, I received this e-mail today. There are some pretty decent prices to Europe from SFO, but I haven't checked flight from other non-hub cities. I found flights SFO-DUB for around $321 a/i at the beginning of May. I apologize in advance for the funky formatting as I cut and paste.

Yes, it was. I'm offloading pix now so I can use the memory cards again (took about 300 pix in 2.5 hours this morning ) and will try to upload some shortly. The tuna auction is crazy in its own right, but the rest of the market is fun, too.

Does anyone want me to assist them in fixing something today?

Can you get my outbound NRT BF waitlist to clear so I don't have to be all sad that my friend I upgraded with my miles is showing BF and I am in Y! ;)

My flight is in 30 hours; I should be first in line for upgrade magic!

I got the email earlier informing me that:

We're sorry, but continental.com was unable to complete your request due to a technical problem.
Please try later or call 1-800-300-1547 for assistance.
The flight is only booked to 37, so I like my chances, but I have no idea what the waitlist looks like. I better not have to fight for it at NRT. That would really annoy me.

If you had a day to kill at LAX and wanted to go to the beach, where would you go? Is the beach right next to LAX an option worth considering or is it best to drive somewhere else?

I'd consider driving down south a bit to Manhattan Beach.

If your intention is to go in the water, don't go to the beach by LAX, there's a nice Chevron refinery right around the corner. ;)

Nice to see this. Of course that means I might become busier at work but more is more. ;)

That is a great deal for DUB.

Haha - the location of the Chevron refinery is actually why I asked my question. I'd never consider going in the water there but was just curious to know what the beach was like. :) Manhattan Beach is a good suggestion though.

In my crazy mind, I guess I'm just thinking about doing a day trip to a warmer location with a beach nearby (not to go in the water but to just lay in the sun for the day). Since fares to FL and the Caribbean are quite pricey (spring break ), I thought about making the trek out to CA. I may try out a mix of VX and UA ps in the process...
