There is no place darker than a bathroom inside a room with no outside windows. (It was one of those properties converted to a Holi-dome) Had to feel my way around to find a towel to dry off. Then, feel my way out of the bathroom, feel my way to my suitcase and get dressed in total darkness. (and hope I had the right color socks on) Managed to find the door leading to the hallway only to find the emergency lighting wasn't working. Finally found my way to an exit negotiating a stairwell in the process. If something like that happened today, I could at least use the small amount of light from my cell phone to get around. |

a Holiday Inn in Columbus, OH that experienced a power outage.
Their key card system apparently didn't have a battery back-up. Or, at least, a functioning battery back-up. |
In an attempt to avoid missing another IAH impromtDO, I'm fixin to be there from around 1130am to 130pm CST tomorrow (Thurs.). PM me if you're going to be around, or better yet email my FT handle at google's webmail (won't be checking FT today).

Embassy Suites is one place I have not seen the coffeepot in the bathroom, but that's to be expected in a kitchenette-style room. |

 CM, I'd be seriously worried if I was staying at a "suite" hotel that had the coffee maker in the bano. |

Has anyone tried the 1st class sleeper airline pillow? I'm thinking of getting one. Also, does anyone have the SkyMall 15 points/$ coupon code? They have the same price as everyone else and I might as well earn more miles...
