It's not the most high-functioning mental state, but it gets the job done.

My low-functioning mental state is achieved simply by not having caffeine. I'm normally worse for wear without coffee than I am with alcohol added.

I should've been clearer, sorry. What I really couldn't picture would be us as a couple sharing a Google Calendar. Maybe it's just because she is back to working and working some odd hours while I'm not working still. I could totally see a need for it given how many nights a week I used to have stuff to do. Currently, not so much. The nightlife tends to die off when you're not one of the important sources of business... :( That's only mildly depressing to think about.

Oh I understand.

What it's really been useful for is planning vacations. We can't talk during the day except for the occasional Gchat conversation so I'll add things to the calendar pertaining to our trip and she can edit it as she sees fit.

We are not a nightlife couple at all. My wife works long days putting up with kids who don't care about school (high school) so when she gets home it's a dog walk, dinner and conversation, and usually a little TV watching before bed.

She did razz me last night by telling me she was going to sign up. I told her she wouldn't know where to find the Box. That's her challenge today.

If she finds her way in here, I may need to find those karaoke pictures again... :p :D

How are you on the return trip w/ jet lag? I can go to Europe and hit the ground running until the night. When I come home I'm a mess for a few days. Typically it takes me 1 day per hour time zone difference to re-adjust.

defeat jetlag, NEVER SLEEP!

It works miracles for me :D

I mean never, as in at home, hotel, etc, sleeping is overrated.

Plus refer to posters on FT by their proper handle. Who is MR BL? I know a Plus1 who is cool but no MR BL!

:p Just Kidding!

I sleep for 15 minutes every 2 hours. It's increased my productivity.

;)

So who's buying?

One ticket matched all six numbers in the March 3 Mega Millions drawing.

"That ticket, which was purchased in Ocean County, New Jersey, wins the estimated $212 million jackpot."

So hoping someone in the box can explain this one.

I bought the SEA-NRT trip for a friend and I to take in July. Originally the booking was made together but I seperated to take the B-UPs. Been logging in daily to see if the upgrades for BF have been processed. I review them today and it seems that my friends upgrade has gone through on the outbound but mine didn't. This seems very odd to me as she is not elite and I was PLatnium at booking and now Gold myself.

Can anyone shed light into way this would happen this way? Thanks.

Hmm - flight 3/8 this weekend appears to have the potential of being oversold (it was zeroed out almost a week in advance). Unfortunately, taking a VDB would prevent me from doing the turn in BWI and completing the 2nd half of my run. :(

I suppose if the cert is worth enough, I could throw away the 2nd half of the run and just head home...

Maybe it's a high school teacher thing? Getting home consists of dinner, some FT time for me while she watches something off the TiVO that I don't get into, and then some together TV time before bed.

My wife is generally uninterested in the goings on of my Internet persona, so she has never expressed interest in joining FT. But I did get her to say yes to the potential of going to colpuk's AUS Do in May. We'll see what happens.

Can I still claim either if I get back to BWI several hours late? Does CO even give original routing credit if trip in vain is declared?
