When I'm in FL, I hit the hot tub in the morning after breakfast, and the sauna after dinner. It helps to sweat out the alcohol.

I thought of you last night when I checked my answering machine, monitor. My mother made a donation to Garden of Dreams during the Devils-Sabres game and MSG called yesterday to tell her she won two tickets and a booth visit with Doc and Chico.

If she is a real hockey fan, she will immensely enjoy the visit. Chico is very amusing but the jewel is Emrick, with whom I have had interesting conversations ranging from ancient hockey history to more contemporary subjects.

Of course, this was at the old rink where the broadcasters were exposed to the fans and liked to schmooze for a while before the games.

There are really no words I could put here that wouldn't get me kicked out of the Box that describe the Browns.

Edwards is a prime example of why we should never, EVER, take a player from Michigan.

If I heard one more damn time about the lack of touchdowns in over a month I was doing to be shopping for a new 42" TV today. And enough of the poor Romeo talk - this team is awful and does not even do the simple things well, if at all. Yes, injuries have taken a toll on the team, but that should have no bearing on people tackling, catching the ball and blocking.

Even worse, one of my good friends is an exec with the Browns. At least the rest of us could change the channel!

I wonder if a library near me has unabridged OAG Worldwide Editions.

Well, despite the Houston Public Library indicating that they do, they do not. I spent over an hour there waiting while staff combed through the stacks. ^ to the helpful staff, but :td: to the inaccurate online catalog.

If the OAG is Copyrighted, wouldn't the Library of Congress have copies? I may plan a trip up to D.C. for a weekend of Aerogeeking (and beer) if that is the case.

Can anyone recommend a good bank with a national presence that isn't at risk of collapsing/being bought out.

I tried moving over to HSBC but I can't deal with them. Their website sucks, their customer service is abysmal and apparently their whole back-end infrastructure is saddled by its own over-complexity. I feel like I'm dealing with the government every time I interact with them.

Like the airlines, I think a lot of banks have their warts. Have you looked at BoA?

I have in my possession one certificate offering a two for one bonus round of golf from Marriott. I got it as part of my MR credit card deal but it is not limited to me insofar as I can tell.

It is valid for one free round of golf with the purchase of a round of golf at any of 26 Marriott golf resorts. The rounds must be played back to back on the same tee time. A hotel stay is not required to redeem it.

Because I am a proto-Godzilla, I do not play golf because I cannot afford the custom made long clubs that would be required. So for those of you who do, PM me if you'd like the certificate.

She's a real Devils fan. Other teams don't hold her attention nearly as much.

The new rink isolates the booth, but during games when I have had seats in the sections that can reach the booth, Doc has been unfailingly kind with his time. I'm hoping Chico gives off a different vibe this time around - I didn't get the same warm and welcoming feeling from him that I did from Emrick. That night my mother will be certain to wear her jersey that is signed by both esteemed gentlemen, the vaunted #50 of Noone Inparticular. I would really like to get a picture of the announcers with the jersey. That's an instant wall piece IMHO.

It appears that they have it.

What does OAG stand for?

If the weather is bad, I figure to be around at that time. Just let me know where you are so we can sit around and assuage your disappointment with some liquid refreshments.

Will do, but I do hope for some good weather as I will only be there from 9:30am on Sat through 7pm on Sunday. This work thing sure does get in the way of my play time.
