Ah, the joys of dealing with Accor customer service. They make UA's ICC look competent.

I usually do not have problems with my Honda Accor.

The reason for that is because, one by one, FlyerTalk members who post to this thread regularly are contracting a disease called The Benalty Pox.

Ahhh, so that is what explains that unsightly itch.....

:D

Ugh! I have sent off a missing-points credit request to Accor every week for the past six weeks now, by both email and Fax (to a long-distance number, no less, as they don't have an (800) fax number ), and the points have never posted. I have multiple fax confirmations showing it went through each time. I spoke with a rep today and explained this, and he said what every other rep has said: "I'm sorry sir, you'll just have to try again." I then asked to speak to a supervisor, hoping I might find some way to send the fax directly to a human. He placed me on hold, then hung up on me.

It seems to be a bad day for customer service , I just spent 20 minutes on hold with MH trying to reset my password for their Enrich FF program , only to be told I have to call during office hours .

I should also note that hell is currently cooling down as there is snow falling in the west side of the LAS Valley and we may have an inch at the airport! SO travel for me no good today.

LAS - Snow possible

IAH - Visability issues

OKC - possible ice storm

ok, back to drinking and catching up on FT!

Accor's phone agents are consistently terrible. Couldn't be more different than the service levels offered inside their Sofitels. If that's their top-tier dedicated phone-line, I shudder to think what basic CS is like with them.

Unless you can think of anotter idea, the next step for you is to consider threatening them.

Start off your threat by saying, “Why, I otter...”

:p

Nah, I just think I'll avoid spending any more money with them in the future.

A coworker just asked me if I could help them "dump something in the trunk of their car" during lunch.

(I'm not Italian, and neither is this person.)
