Oh, I certainly don't want to go there. I do have to go there, though.

I did discover that an open-jaw, IAH-SHV, LFT-IAH was exactly the same price as a roundtrip to SHV, which worked to my advantage for this particular trip.

Will you get to take advantage of Colgan Air's fabulous Saabs?

Nope. ERJ-145 for all flights. I just recalled that NW often price-matches CO in Louisiana's smaller markets. I may cancel that reservation and book NW for the additional FM Lines if it prices out the same.

Sorry...been busy this morning. Was at the Atlanta aquarium and hanging out with family. Finally going to get some quality FT time now, I hope.

Oh yeah, and I assume that NW via MEM means you'll get to experience the CRJ-200 again!!!

OK I'm off to the airport to wait out the rest of my delay there.

Apparently, I can do IAH-MEM-SHV, LFT-ATL-IAH on a combo of CR2/CR9 for about the same price.

It was an old cash register that's being shipped overseas.

... don't ask.

Yes, but it doesn't matter. 4-Segments on NW/DL at 50% EQM works out to the same amount of EQMs as 2-Segments on ExpressJet at 100% EQM.

It's not like you need those EQM's for 2008, in any event.

This is for 2009, which I do need EQMs for. However, as it nets the same amount as CO (due to the two extra segments), I might as well. I'll get two new lines (MEM-SHV, LFT-ATL), a new city (SHV), a new Equipment Type (CRJ-100), and two new carriers (Comair and ASA).

I am finally back on the day shift ^ after being banished to the evening shift for the past three months. I have forgotten just how busy we are on the day shift now and just how long it takes to drive 3 miles to work in the morning.

So I was in NYC for a whopping 18 minutes this morning. Yup, my father and I decided to go see the Intrepid today, only to find that we shouldn't have gone in the first place because I didn't check the website to find that the FDNY commencement was being held on deck, and the ship is closed to the public. ~4 hours roundtrip driving for an 18-minute stroll along the river.

On the upside of that, my father works for the Turnpike, and he set me loose in the parking lot of the yard that is just in front of the 22's at EWR. I only got to shoot about five approaches, but I think some of the shots came out quite nice.
