I think that the Got a Question? Your very own CO EWR FA is here!^ thread is the best thing to happen to the CO Forum since the box.

I just read all 15 pages of the thread, and Mackieman's sixth concentric circle of hell line was the best one-liner in there.

Mmm, tasty peppery cheesy goodness in an impossible-to-open 1 oz. single-serve plastic container. One of the best things to ever happen to the Presidents Club.

I still don't understand why the ATL club has only mild cheddar and Monterrey jack cheese. I thought all the clubs were supposed to get either Rondele or some other third cheese type? ATL is the only club that I've seen just the two old cheese choices in.

I might have found a new place to hang out on FT. Of course I would never cheat on The Box, but that new Gaming Loyalty forum does kinda come close to home.

I did not care for the ATL PC.

Why are the rondele packages soo damn hard to open?

Well, since Atlanta is home, the ATL PC is my home club now. The front desk staff there is wonderful (as PC staff usually is), and always very friendly. The club's not huge, but it's sufficient, and certainly beats sitting in the terminal. And it's the only SkyTeam club on Concourse D.

My one big complaint with the ATL PC is the temperature, especially in the afternoons. On warm days the temperature in that club is often close to 80° F. Adequate cooling on warm days is a problem throughout the ATL terminals, but it's especially bad in the PC. I've even heard the club's employees complaining about the temperature, but apparently, they have no control over it. They simply get the air that's pumped in.

Wouldn't you know that the one time this year I've been done with my on-site work with a client before 3:00 PM I wouldn't be able to get on a flight and go home early. So here I sit, still in Baton Rouge, because there were no seats available on a flight I could actually make. There were seats, but they were on a flight that was an hour away when I realized that I was going to be off work early. There simply wasn't enough time to run back to the hotel, pack my stuff, get to the airport, return the rental car, and make the flight. So here I am at the Marriott, drinking a glass of wine, and cruising FT.

I was there about three weeks ago and was sweating like a prostitute in church. I couldn’t believe how hot it was in there. I found the club to be very small and hot. I waited there for about 2 hours

I did find the woman at the front desk to be very friendly. She was an older woman with blond hair.

Makes you wonder....

So I come home today and think that I finally got all the problems of my lost bag in order, only to find that CHase has decided to send me a new card for the account I canceled 3 weeks ago and already received new account number and card for. When I called the card was cancelled but makes you wonder.

IF anyone is coming to OKC soon on the UA deal let me know, I wouldn't mind meeting anyone in OKC for drinks.

I had to cancel my trip to SAT this coming weekend but have rescheduled for two weeks. I just want to get on a plane. :)

Ah, I feel much better now.

I have found that it's cooler if you're in the parts of the club away from the windows. But seriously, the powers that be at ATL need to do some major HVAC upgrades. There are days that the security checkpoint is sweltering, and the underground corridor between the concourses that runs between the train tunnels is also usually very hot.

jrzyshawn Oct 9, 2008 5:38 pm

the temp in the train was 79.9 as listed on the lcd display in the back corner near the doors.
