HA! I don't mind sitting in the airport for a few hours but I have a PC membership ;) Also, I did not feel like making her transit through DFW on what was a pretty tight connection.

Neither did I, but it may have something to do with the need for more seats since the ATRs hold ~15 more people than the ERJ-145. It was neat seeing it pull up to the gate though.

I will be writing CO a nice long letter on how poor of shape the CRJ was. As soon as I walked on the plane the smell of urine hit me in the face. There appeared to be boogers on the back of our seats and on our tray tables.

For those of you who were wondering, the game was absolutely the most ruckus event I have ever attended in my entire life. When I was a student at Tech, our seating section was avoided due to the amount of vulgarities that exited the area. During this game the vulgarities were kept to a minimum and good old fashioned cheering took its place.

The officiating group was awful and they made bad calls on both sides of the ball. The most glaring being the full out tackling by our offensive line on two occasions.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a great morning!

I dont think so. I believe I was on a 300 earlier in the year and no upgrade for me as I was silver at the time on a Sunday afternoon.

Speaking of that, is it just me or do 90% of WASP women in Manhattan between the ages of 20 and 30 look the same?

Correct - there is still 1 733 in the morning. Fortunately, all of the other 733 and 735 flights have been replaced with 738s and an occasional 739. Interesting to note, this route seems to frequently receive the newer 738s and 739ERs with no IFE.

No need to limit it to the WASP segment. There is a pretty consistent look to the population at a similar age who celebrate Hanukkah rather than Christmas. ;)

My original post had another acronym to go along with the WASP one, but I didn't want to offend anyone.

You know, similar to how CO is "punishing" a certain segment of the population.

What's even funnier than him is the goofy look of the two women off his left shoulder. Talk about . Morning, Box.

The fiancee, as if by true religious miracle, always seems to find wedding planning-themed programming on TV at any hour of any day. I think she cut a deal with Comcast, but that's just me. Anyway, reason I bring it up: the consistent cookie-cutter look of the cute Jewish girls from Boca Raton who are the offspring of transplant New Yorkers. The one this morning was a dead ringer for whatshername the redhead on ESPN...Rachel Nichols, is it? I don't think she spells it that way.

Actually, SFO in Terminal 3 (the UA terminal) has actual wine shop in the sterile area. I have no idea about EWR though, the NYC region isn't exactly known for wine. :)

PDX also has wine for sale in the sterile area, usually at some sort of cart in the middle of the concourse.

Even EWR-PDX flights see upgrades these days.
