I have a feeling The Box is going to be pretty quiet for the next few days while we all post like crazy somewhere else... ;)

Nope. What's that? Like half a W?

How I wish I could really say what I think in regards to this.

Yup. Aside from hockey, nearly everything else is just plain weird there, eh. But I'm with sdm1130 on this one: Vancouver rules.

I have never been to Vancouver , I really want to go though.

I really want to go back. I wouldn't mind going for the GP race. ^

I do have pictures that I can share. I actually just started the move over to flickr this afternoon so things are in shambles right now. Let me organize the Vancouver (and Victoria) pictures and I'll post a link later this evening.

While waiting for sdm1130's photos, here are my VAncouver photos from this summer. Food in Vancouver is great BTW.

I talked to BL JR about the need for a mileage run. She said she'd like to go to Australia. I told her she didn't need that many miles. She said she wanted to go to London because it's her favorite city. So I'm going to see if I can swing that; if not we'll be doing some of the domestic fun runs. I figured she'll be about 10k short for gold based on another 14k she still has to fly the next two months.

Box advise: My 22 year old cousin is coming to Houston for a few days. He's Australian and this is his first trip to IAH. He's an artist so the museum is in; but an other must sees? He used to be a musician but is out of that though still has lots of friends that are. I want to make it a good experience for him.

I have twice had one of the best meals of my life in Vancouver, both times at the same place. Yes, it is expensive. VERY expensive with the recent devaluation of the US Dollar. But Tojo's is the best sushi in North America. It is simply phenomenal.

As for photos, I have a few from my trip last November posted here and here. Views are from the Renaissance right on the water downtown. I stayed there on both visits and enjoyed it immensely both times.

And I'm realizing that there are some missing from that second link that I should probably try to upload. The aquarium is quite nice there.

How about an H fare to HNL for a taste of paradise or a open jaw to LON and return from CDG with the connection on Eurostar or, my favorite, a flight from LCY-CDG on an AF Avro RJ85?

Does anyone here have the iPhone application "TravelTracker?" If so, how is it?
