I woke up extra early to go vote. The place where i am supposed to vote is only 4 streets north of my apartment so I walk up and at 6:45 am there is a line that is 2 CROSSTOWN blocks. I asked someone who was close to the entrance how long they had been waiting and they said people started getting there at 4:30 am and the polls dont even open until 6 am. It looked like Best Buy on Black Friday. Ill attempt to go back after work.

My mistress (the other thread) is currently filling up too fast for my posts to make sense. Ah well, post count up, up, and away!

After this election, a lot of states will implement early voting. Glad I voted by absentee.

At one post every 30 seconds, you can do two a minute. That's 2,880 posts per 24 hour period, if you're willing to forego food, sleep, and bathroom. Sacrifices, sacrifices. :D

They were great when NW flew them in the States - the first RJs with first class seats. I admit, they do look goofy but they are perfect for the STOL airports in Europe. I take Swiss from GVA-LCY always enjoy the special nature of the flight. Come to think of it, I have flown the 4 engines 4 short runways specials operated by Northwest (Mesaba), Cityjet, Swiss and Brussels.

I've flown the Mesaba RJ-85's many times, always in F, and wouldn't mind taking another ride on one sometime.

I just voted. Not a single person in line. I was in and out in 2 minutes tops.

How's that FM progress coming, speaking of such?

I am on my way out to go vote. I hear that the wait is about 20 minutes at my polling place. I guess that is a lot better that what I saw on FOX News. They were reporting up to 6 hour waits in some areas on the NE.
Oh, I also saw on the news, I forgot where it was, but if you go in with your "I voted" sticker, you get free body peircing. Enjoy! |

I'm quite curious to see your FM, especially the DC-3 flight.
It's been taking so long because I painstakingly have been going through my flights in reverse chronological order, inputting seat numbers, dates, flight numbers, etc. I think I am going to shift gears and input the remainder of the international flights and flights involving interesting aircraft or airlines. Then, I will make sure I have all dots and routes covered before going back to the more recent, repetitive domestic routes and dots (tons of DCA/BWI-IAH/CLE, IAH-SEA, etc.). |
