Is something like that in the fare rules for specials?

I have successfully changed a weekend special using the confirmed standby option.

Unfortunately, I can't travel this weekend. :( They always have really good destinations when I am unavailable.

If time permits, some of the best barbeque I've ever had came from Bodacious BBQ, a small chain in East Texas. I think the closest location to IAH is Livingston, up 59. I used to stop at the location in Rusk regularly on my way to Dallas.

The fare rules specifically exclude standby on those fares, according to CO Insider.

You got lucky. I wouldn't count on it.

Interesting... I did it through the automated process online.

After hours of being offline, I'm back. A coworker got a virus through Facebook, which then got sent to me, and I got infected too. Three hours later and it appears to be gone. What a waste of time. I have work to do, and posting to do in the other thread.

I got that message from you and was like, "weird"...

Yeah, it went to at least 20 people that I know of. I hope you just deleted it.

I got it from a coworker and only opened it because she's sent me video links from YouTube through Facebook before. Little did I know it was going to install software on my computer, and then take over my browser and start e-mailing my Facebook friends list, 20 people at a time. I stopped it after the first e-mail by pulling the network cable out of my computer.

I had a Comcast outage for a few hours, so it became C:rolleyes:mcast.

Does anyone know of a safe spot to do spotting at EWR? I have to be there for 4:30-ish tomorrow and would consider going up early if I could avoid the PANYNJ.

Comcast is the worst Internet provider ever. I'm so glad I'm not a Comcast customer anymore. They took a very reliable and fast Internet system in Houston and ruined it when they took over in that market. I gave them a couple of months, left, and never looked back. I had more outages in the first three months of Comcast as my service provider than I did in nearly seven years before that with Time Warner as my provider. In fact, I think Time Warner only died on me three times during that period, and one of those was related to a hurricane. With Comcast it was a daily service call.

I haven't had such issues with Comcast. The cable here gets flaky in bad weather, but this is was probably the first time in more than a year that I've seen a truck in the neighborhood working on the lines. My digital music channels used to fail quite often, and an amp in the house combined with an infrastructure improvement fixed that.

Something very big is about to happen here.
