Have you checked with your bank to make sure they can't do international wire transfers? I use a few small banks and they all have relationships with a larger bank for such things.

Does Western Union convert to the local currency ?

Sorry, forgot to mention that the bank caps funds at 750 NZD, and I need to loft over a bit more than that. :rolleyes:

I've done PayPal w/ the UK but it was a smallish amount and worked within their cap for the basic account. They had the cheapest fees.
