I'm willing to put up with the aggravation because SPG Plat is truly worth it.

IAH is getting shafted on Caribbean, Central America, and S. America fares right now, when it seems everywhere else is having sales to those destinations. OTOH, I'm seeing sub-$300 a/i fares to MID for the first time in ages.

I have Priority Club. Their website is ok. I find Hiltons does what I want it to do with out me screaming at it, well except for the multiple log-in stuff. I really hate SPG's website.

I haven't had nearly as many problems with the spg website. All my reservations show up, no matter where I book them.

I haven't seen most of the issues that folks are experiencing.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the poor quality of the Marriott site...

I have not had any problems with SPG.com, but I usually only make 3-5 reservations with them each year (hoping that # will increase in 2009).

I think the Marriott site is much better than spg.com.

No problem. I don't think I'm even going to use that third post, anyway - I might just request that it be deleted.

I was reading that Arik Air will be starting IAH-LOS service sometime in the near future, there's an interesting line for FM.

I see you're keeping your PWP skills in practice.

But that would result in a post-deduction. Best to hold on to it as an investment-grade post. Given enough time and favorable changes in the posting markets, I'm sure you'll find an appropriate use for it.

Ok, I'm the noob who is waaaay late to the party, but what does PWP stand for? I get the Post Whore part, but what about the additional, and possibly extraneous, P? Patrol, perhaps?

I'll just make an offsetting post in the Box.
