What do you think about Dos Caminos ?

Similar to Rosa, though I generally like the food at Rosa better. But Dos Caminos is of the same style of "fancy" Mexican food.

I've found Caliente Cab to be decent in NYC...

Yikes; that does not sound good. Have you read the lease to see what the penalty is if you leave early? Do you want to take over the lease??? Layoffs have been rough. Mr BLs place did some axing while he was overseas; tough to come back to. I've been at a trade show and while it's a place where jobs come and go; there are a lot of people looking right now. It's pretty eye opening and scary.

No, I do not want to take over the lease. I could not afford it on my own nor do I think I could find anyone to pay what we are paying as the rental market here is starting to tank as well. We currently pay $1,700 each and I would be willing to bet I could find somthing bigger and nicer for $1,400 each today. He renewed our lease back in June before the housing market started to see the effects of the bank implosions.

She's a visual merchandiser. She did it at Polo before coming to ACY.

Sorry to hear, but at least this gives you guys more flexibility.

We're hiring, but not for people that aren't smart enough to look at the job section of our website and figure out I'm most certainly not the right person to be contacting (unless, of course, they already know me).

Indeed...that's the silver lining that I keep trying to convince myself of the existence of.

My question is how unsolicited resumes end up with you...just enough of talking about and around your job tells me enough to know that you're not a hiring guy.

The only way it can is if the ingredients don't work for you. It is incredibly hard to screw up fresh avocado.

Morning, Box!

I'm the spokesperson of the company in many occasions so the googler leads people to my name, and from there it's not too difficult. Unlike most large companies we don't hide ourselves (below the C level) as we treat every external contact with the highest level of service. Even though I'm not in sales and even though these people will most likely never buy anything from us, the culture of the company is to strive for, consistently, the highest level of professionalism with every interaction. At least that's the theory. ;)

I also get a boat load of sales cold-calls, which annoy the living daylights out of me. These knit-wits see my name somewhere and they instantly think I'm responsible for whatever project I was talking about. No, I will not be buying a flux capacitator next week.

Not a fan. Their 'ritas are made from a mix instead of fresh lime juice. That corn syrup flavor was quite a turn-off. I didn't pay much attention to the food after that because I knew I wasn't going back.
