Question for THE BOX:

A: Go back to Houston on 12/31 for new years eve and fly back with my fiance and her friend on 1/1. Fiance is Silver and would probably get the upgrade but her friend has no status. Total cost $250 out of pocket. I dont need EQM for 2008 but would give a good start to 2009.

or,

B: Use that $ to upgrade us on one of the legs for our honeymoon to SJO on AA (stupid stickers). Total cost $300 (both of us SJO-MIA-LGA) but my parents may pay for it anyway.

In other news, C:rolleyes: was in rare form last night. Boarded the plane then announced an hour delay for mechanical reasons. The timing was just a bit more than suspect.

I had a super tight connection to a train and asked for the concierge to help me figure out a plan B.

30 minutes later she came back and said "you have no options." Really, that's funny, because my blackberry and I figured out a few. :mad:

yadda yadda yadda, supper was served cold. :rolleyes: Crew was decent though, and I made it. About 90 min. late to my meetings, but I made it. If I had wanted to arrive that late I would have taken the SQ flight out of JFK and saved myself $1400 and had a better in-flight experience.

I got one a bit ago, sadly it was for an itin i was in the process of cancelling. :(
