Yeah, and we all complains about the CO 752s from Europe. They seem to be over-leveraging 752s. Aside from RDU/PIT-CDG they are running 752s from JFK-AMS.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

But that's ok, i'm sure they'll start running 744s on ATL-MCO soon.

I think they are going to lead to their own demise. But, we can watch from a safe distance.

Wow, the box is on page 400 with 40 posts per page.

I'm on w/ Co.com support AGAIN because I had 2 tickets not ticket AGAIN. I should be getting paid for this.

Yep. This whole merger was about nothing but greed. Get the biggest fleet, the biggest route structure, the largest number of hubs, etc., etc. Being biggest doesn't mean being most profitable.

Unfortunately I doubt I'll be at a safe distance come next summer. When my schedule has me going from ATL to CAE every week, I'm not really going to have a choice but to fly DL. I'm dreading it. And I'll be doing that every week for 18-24 months.

I'm going to try and wrap up CO Platinum next year as quickly as I can, or at least get as close as I can, before CO leaves SkyTeam. That will carry me into 2010 with CO top level status. Beyond that, I may have to drop in the ranks to a CO nobody, and an unhappy DL Platinum commuting on CR2s every week.

That right there would have me considering a move to a non-DL city. :D

You *ALWAYS* have an option.

Funny you mention that. Neither of us is thrilled with Atlanta as a city. My partner has said for a long time that his next job after this one won't be in Atlanta. He has his heart set on the West Coast or the Northeast. We love the loft condo we purchased earlier this year, and have some good friends in Atlanta, but neither of us really feels at "home" there. I don't anticipate us being there more than a couple more years, at most.

Come to the Northeast. Even I'm moving back, albeit at a snail's pace. :)

Once I can get a PO Box at EWR, i may be set.

I would absolutely love for us to move to the New York area. We've talked about it, and I know we'd both love living there — it's just our kind of place, and neither of us is the suburban house with a yard and two cars type. But a lot of it depends on his career. I'm quite happy with my job and company and can live anywhere. Of course we just finished getting the last odds and ends of the move this year wrapped up over the last few weeks. Not sure I'm ready to go through all that again for a while.
