There is no try. We are having a mini meat meet!

I'll be there, too.

Thats kinda far from the airport. I plan on flying out around 2-5pm but will have to drop the car off at my parents house where I will be staying for the weekend (The Woodlands). Is there anything closer to the airport?

There are a couple of IHOPs and Waffle Houses near the airport.

I'm sure we could arrange a ride for you if you wanted to leave the car at your parents house and go to brunch. I live close enough that a drive to the airport is only 15-20 minutes.

We could do Empire Cafe as they have a pretty good breakfast/brunch.

Mmm, I vote for Empire as well!

Um, no. Sorry, but no.

Besides, those places don't have brunch cocktails. Empire does, with a nice selection of coffee drinks that you have to be 21 or older to order.

Agreed! There will definitely be plenty of us around with cars and transportation to/from IAH shouldn't be a problem for those without a car. We've got several locals, and if I stay over like I'm thinking I will, I'll have a rental car.

As long as someone is driving (and I manage to get my LIM ticket changed) I'm in.

I think something around 7pm for food, though the bar may see action slightly earlier than that.

The breakfast drinks are great!

Gravitas also does a brunch with bottomless Mimosas and Bellinis, so there are a few options.

ALCO can't sleep now. I think, he is enjoying some coffee shops at Den Haag. :D

I am extremely probable.

I will be driving up there from 79th and 2d so if anybody would like me to stop by and do a pick up, send me a PM and we will make the connection.

I'm liking the Sunday brunch ideas but can't commit to anything...gotta wait for Monday morning and The Mom to be home and see if space opened for me (there's plenty for her). If there's no companion space I may have to burn my cert. I'll be in the needs-a-ride pool too. I can't imagine my mother renting a car when CO shuttles should be doing nearly everything needed.

Re: mini meat meet...I'll be in the city early afternoon but can't stay that late. If anyone is in Manhattan in the 230-4ish timeframe, I can hang post-interview a little.
