Finally back from ATL. Didn't get to use the PC or CRC unfortunately. Changed my FL flight to an AA flight leaving at the buttcrack of dawn, when it was 23 degrees outside. Everything was cool with the plane change in DFW, but on the way to SAN we had to do some loops for about 45 minutes over the Imperial Valley and wait for fog to clear above minimums for a RWY 9 ILS approach.

Some upsides, though: Never flown AA or an MD-80 before so added that and the new lines to DFW to FlightMemory. Nothing quite like having the FA look at you funny when you order a drink at 6:30AM. :D Oh, and of all the flights into SAN I've had, I never got to do an approach on 9, so that was nifty.

Now to see if I can find reward seats to the DO. Good to be home. :)

I'm now pimping for my out-of-work girlfriend since she's hit a dead end.
She is a TV news reporter and has been looking daily for any job (reporter, segment producer and/or field producer) in her industry in almost any city.

I know no one in this field and was hoping that maybe one of you might have a contact that will actually view her tape.

She is also applying to radio jobs but since she hasn't done this type of work since college, she isn't very hopeful.

I'm amazed that OU is putting up as many points against TT as Florida did against the Citadel earlier this afternoon. That's insane. I know the Big 12 isn't known for defense, but still.

The other half approved the somewhat unusual routing I have planned for the Do! It will only cost about $15 more per ticket but we'll get almost double the miles. ^

No. Message boards early in a relationship perceive almost as bad as Trekkie conventions.

It is part of the travel obsession and comes with the territory of time "wasted" in the air and planning for such adventures. I'd lead in with the travel parts, but the FT part has to come out eventually on that front.

Or when they start asking why you're always on the computer instead of talking to them. :D
