I would laugh uncontrollably if old Parkway token turn-ins had something to do with lowering the debt problem in this craphole. At 35 cents apiece and only over $30, how many quintillions of dollars in tokens would NJ need to pay off $37 billion?

Yes, in addition to a corrupt just about everything here, we have to get our cars put up on a rack for the State to poke and prod every other year. At least when I bought my car, I just got in after the law change that gave new cars a four-year window. This state sucks on many levels.

Your car's as old as mine then.

As for us Silvers and NW. We're already use to the walk of shame to the Y cabin but it will be tough walking to the back of a Airbus or a DC-9 now.

Speeding on the New Jersey Turnpike is compulsory, because the signs warn you to Reduce Speed Get Ticket, especially when approaching toll plazas.

I'm still grumbling about being one of the first people paying the new toll early Monday morning.

You mean you weren't one of the people who went out and bought rolls and rolls of the old tokens? :)

ssullivan got me started on those. You can get tail numbers for all your domestic flights (on major carriers) dating back to 1995 from http://www.bts.gov. Once you start doing tail-numbers, you have reached the Aerogeek equivalent of attending fetish parties in full bondage attire.

I could never get so detailed, I'm too lazy. People think I'm crazy that I have a list of all of the aircraft type I've been on, the airline I flew with that plane type as well as the segements. I will admit to creating the list from memory which is pretty sad in its self.

Nope. I was one of the first to use EZ-Pass in NJ. GSP was a mess on day one but I remember Exit 11 on the Turnpike being empty on day one because it went so well.

I cannot stand those jughandles where one must encounter the same traffic light twice, usually red both times.

I wonder how CO Silvers are ever going to manage upgrades now that NW is parting ways with CO. I guess they can work in a 753 IAH-MSY on a Saturday morning once per year to remember what the front cabin looks like. :D

I stopped flying NW when we started getting only 50% EQM's for discount tickets. I got burned once. I think I had a ticket purchased like 6 months in advance on NW and by the time I took my flight, the rules changed about the EQM's. I do remember flying up front alot on NW and HP. I honestly cant remember if I ever had a seat in coach on NW.

Ok a bit newer. I got two year extention sticker mailed to me that I had to place above the existing one.

Didn't realize that. Thanks for the correction. That's what happens when I, a PA resident at the time only observed NJ drivers and their windshield stickers, and didn't ask about 'em. How do NJ police tell if your reg is expired?

I have a whopping total of four tail numbers in my FM of 160-ish flights. Never mind that there's untold numbers of flights that aren't in that thing because I have no records for them. The four numbers are the two B6 aircraft I was on, because I wanted to save the names too, my father's Piper Cherokee, and the JetRanger that we took a tourist flight on in MCO in September.

They have to run the plates to check the data base.
