Why doesn't my Flightmemory map automatically update with the new flights that I just saved?

Click on Statistics and it should generate an updated map.

I do, and it just stays on the "updating statistics" message.

You won't know for sure until a day or two beforehand. The CO website was showing 50BF seats for a few weeks for my flight to Japan until the day before the plane got swapped. The best way to find out is with the pda site.

Sometimes you never know. Earlier this year I was on that first EWR-IAH flight of the day (boy is EWR empty at that hour of the day) When I went to bed around 11 PM, I checked the PDA site and it was still saying the expected 752. When I boarded the plane in the morning though door 1L I was greeted to a 738, yea that was a surprise. The worse part was that the plane was supposed to follow the 752's schedule for the day. I over heard a FA talking to the GA when I was deplaining saying "They do know this is a 738-800 and not a 757? I don't think they can use it for the Newark - Edinburgh flight tonight."

I wonder how CO Silvers are ever going to manage upgrades now that NW is parting ways with CO. I guess they can work in a 753 IAH-MSY on a Saturday morning once per year to remember what the front cabin looks like. :D

Rub it in...

So I was just reading the BRU DO thread. I think my wife might kill me if I send he on the nonstop to BRU and I do the LHR/LCY fun and then hop to HKG (again!). On the plus side, she still says she is coming to BRU, so that should be fun.

But I really want LCY, the AMS-HKG line and more flying. I definitely need to not book it tonight after much drinking. That will get me in much trouble.

Does a KLM V fare even earn EQMs with CO?

I think I have decided on a final routing for the BRU DO - TSS-EWR-LHR / LCY-BRU / BRU-EWR. With my travel cert and some TravelBank money, it should run me just about $200. AMS and CDG are still attractive options as well - I've never been to either city but have spent several days in London...

The only unattractive thing about AMS is the $168 in taxes for a coach ticket.

Every time I log into my flightmemory, it says "there are changes in the Flightdata. The statistic should update now."

From the FT Glossary

DO (or DOO): A widely used term for larger FlyerTalker get togethers/parties in the Community Buzz Forum. In general the term is reserved for larger gatherings of 12 of more members.

deniah Dec 5, 2008 7:42 pm

so its not an actual acronym? strange etymology....

MBM3 Dec 5, 2008 7:55 pm

I think 'Do came from the term "big to do," another term for a big event.
