I do not see this feature under my account

This is all I have

I think it only shows up on the monthly statements. I've seen it there, but not consistently.

Interesting. Have you been an elite before this year? Perhaps this is something that is target by previous Elite Qualification?

You are closer by miles but I am closer by points. So I dont think that is a reason for the difference.

This seems strange. I know I use to have the line for how many points needed but not anymore.

I got hosed by that stupid jet-lag study program. I was supposed to be going to France this afternoon. Instead I'm sitting at home now and am "supposed" to go finally in January. Maybe. :(

On the car ride home from the place I did see a chicken handing out coupons on the corner of 25th & 7th. Following on belynch's suggestion I did not stop and pick a few up. ;)

A bit of advice for some in the box. Play nice in other peoples sand box. I don't think they enjoy the box's empire building unless you're trying to join FCTSTY.

Are the DL Forum Lounge people getting uppity?

Has anyone else confirmed themselves for the party flight?

Happy Sunday, Box. I'm off to gorge on seriously unhealthy food in the French Quarter.

I have been silver from 2000- aprox 2005 and then 2007-present. This is the first time I am making gold. I just checked my friends accounts, all silvers and nothing for them either. oh well....

Like SBM1130 said, You have to click on your current statement and that is where it shows. Neat feature just hadnt seen it before. If you dont see it there then there must be a trigger that CO has to show that specific info.

How are DL's BE seats on the 772ER? CO offered me seats on a NW 333 from BKK-NRT and then a DL 772ER from NRT-JFK. I have a feeling the seats (and service) won't compare to the KE option I have right now, but it would at least give us something on the same flights.

Am I correct in assuming that a combo of KE, NW and DL will price in at the same 120k mileage level (assuming SaverPass availability)? Or is WBC more expensive?

I'd favor same flight over the service/seat somewhat significantly, especially for a flight that long and that is part of the honeymoon.

I completely agree. In the end, different flights will not be an option at any point along the way. Since I have about 8 months left to make this work, I am/was a little hesitant to move to something with less service.

Anyway, the first agent I spoke with must have been clueless. I called back about an hour later and was told that no such availability existed on any of the 4 days the first agent told me she found. The first agent had me on hold for close to 20 minutes while checking availability so I have a feeling she was not quite sure about what she was doing. Oh well...

I went through this all several months ago when redeeming a reward to Asia. IIRC, if you use KE beyond ICN, you can only use KE or NW for the TPAC segments for 120k. If you stick to NW beyond NRT, you can use CO, DL, or NW for the TPAC's for 120k, again IIRC. I had a DL NRT-ATL flight all set to go, but when the agent tried to book it, it took the reward up another 20k (IIRC) for the return segments.

KE has much better AVOD and Korean food than NW. The western food options on both are somewhat medicocre, with KE slightly better than NW. If you fly NW, be sure to pre-reserve Japanese meals, as they are much better than the western options. Better booze on KE. DL will have decent food and booze, better than NW, probably on par with or close to KE. AVOD on DL will be better than NW and not quite as good as KE. With respect to the DL seat, if it is the lie-flat herringbone style, it might be better than the angled-flat KE and NW seats. While I have experienced VS' UC herringbone seats many times, I have yet to fly DL's, so I cannot compare the DL seats to VS. I do, however, prefer VS' seats to the KE/NW angled-flat.

If service is your main concern, focus on making KE work for the TPACs. NW is fine, with pleasant service (IME) and decent food, but the FA's disappear for very long stretches mid-flight, and, while efficient and good overall, the experience is not as involved as KE.
