Oh boy, I have never been so tempted to start a topic. Hrm, I wonder if "LGA-IAH is a better upgrade than the EWR-IAH tease" is a good title? :p:D
Hmm... on an unrelated note, maybe I should open a shop selling S+M supplies. |

I have never missed an LGA-IAH upgrade and I have only missed 2 IAH-LGA upgrades.
I've never missed one either (either way). A flight attendant friend sent me this: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ti3fcZhMsxM a bit long but fun |
Ive got an orphaned 35,000 United Miles. How many SPG would they be worth over in CC?

So let me make sure I understand the PenaltyBox FM methodology.
I get the last three digits of the plane registration from the Flight Status information and check that against Airliners.net, so plane #151 becomes N76151 (762). Do we input the full plane type (i.e. - Boeing 767-224/ER) or just 767-200? |

Officially unemployed as of this morning :) Yeah!
It's not all bad though... I've been on the bench for the last 3.5 months, collecting a full paycheck... and now they'll pay me another 12 weeks severance. Now I can pursue the other things I've been working on. In a more official way... AND FRICKING GET BACK TO FLYING!!!!! :) |
Another thing that would be interesting to the FM would be the fare class paid. How could we incorporate that?

The top part about the tail number, yes. The bottom part: I've only seen everyone else go as far as the type and series. I would leave it as 767-200.
I just applied completely on a lark to try something new (technical writing) at Booz Allen Hamilton. Anyone got friends there? |
I just tried to sell my company's services to a new client for the first time. Very interesting experience. Of course, the feed back was I sound great but too $$, so I'll see.

Booz Allen Hamilton.
In other news, if rolov isn't too busy getting his haircut in the VS lounge, he might appreciate this. |

(To be fair, I've missed a couple times. It seems somewhat sporadic.) I've still not flown into LGA. Usually I'm headed to a hotel in Midtown or Lower Manhattan on public transit, and the train options from EWR just seem easier to deal with. |

Even though I technically live closer to LGA than PHL by road miles, The thought of dealing with  and the delays of getting to LGA, even going around to the GWB, far outweighs the  of driving through center city Philly.

Do we input the full plane type (i.e. - Boeing 767-224/ER) or just 767-200? I'd list it as 767-200ER, simply because Boeing does distinguish the ER as a separate type from the 767-200. Within the CO fleet, all the 767s are ER series planes, but there is always the possibility someone will scrounge up an old 767-200 (non-ER) on another airline. Within the ERJs and 739s, CO operates different variants, so the ER (or XR/LR/EP for the ERJ) is relevant. |
