Ugh. I'm so not a morning person, and having to teach a training class this morning at 7:00 AM EST for a group of software developers in Bangladesh is not my idea of a good time. The only good thing is it's an online class and I have never bothered to see about getting a web cam, so these people can only hear me, but not see me. This morning that's a very good thing.

I was meaning to send you an email or post in the main thread about it. I keep getting an error message asking me to become a member of TVN to get that information. I'm pretty sure it is a results page from the site, not a KVS error. I'll send you an email separately with more details.

And thanks for the info on the solenoid valve. I'll pull the machine out and take a look underneath this morning to see what I can see about replacing it.

(and here I am, posting in The Box!)

hehe

My biggest decision was trying to decide which sweater to leave behind. I'm trying to pack light, but to a Texan, 40 degrees is cold! :p

Thanks, baglady! It is a relief, and now the excitement is setting in that I'll be able to do something new :)

Any truth to this rumor ?

Definitely snowing on 17th Street. I haven't ventured outside to see how far it extends.

Snowing and sticking about 25 miles south of it.

And also in the Meadowlands/Rutherford area.

Speaking of which, does anyone know what that huge colorful building is that they are building next to the Brendan Byrne (aka Izod Center)?

That would be Xanado. Part of it's an indoor ski slope like the one in Milton Keynes, UK, only bigger.

Snowing 35 miles south of EWR. It seems EWR is right on the line for the heavier snow fall but this is a very light snow. I might clear it off surfaces with a leaf blower.

That Xanadu together with the space taken up by the new stadium construction really did a number on the parking situation for Giants Stadium. The worst thing is that until the old Stadium is torn down there will be no improvement.

At least, if the developer goes bust as is not unlikely to happen, that Xanadu thing won't open for years and its visitors won't take up any of the parking spaces until then.
