I deserve a bonus just for my work today. I've solved one client's major problem with payroll, and I've also found what may be a software defect our development team seriously needs to look into.

Of course the most I'll get from anybody is "Thanks!" and "Good job!"

I was planning on a nice WBC seat AMS-EWR this summer on the A330, but it seems that DL is going to put an 763ER on that route instead. :td:

It's a pity that all the 330s are going to ATL. They were nice birds, at least a lot nicer than the craptastic 763s DL has.

Only two problems:

- I didn't take my 70-200 and 1.4x converter
- SAN's traffic seem pretty low these days, and 80% are WN's 737

Because SAN only has one runway, they tend to group arrivals and departures together. So for about a half hour, you'll usually see one arrival after another. Then you won't see any for a while because they're doing a whole bank of departures. If you look at the arrival and departure times on the monitors in the terminals, it sort of shows that. And yeah, WN dominates SAN traffic most all the time, with a nice smattering of US and AA.

SAN used to be full of DL's 762s. Now they seem to mostly get DL 757s. Not nearly as cool.

I believe those were 763s they use for high volume domestic legs. I used to see them on the schedule regularly during the summer and fall. For the winter they have downgraded to the 752 transcon, which is still ok by me since it has AVOD. Both of my DL flights to ATL since November were in that configuration. I have another coming up for the Do (redeye to ATL on Feb 5, then to IAH) and it's on the 752.

Just had my fourth Paulaner Hefeweizen and still have an hour until my flight will board !! ^

Paulaner is a decent Hefeweizen (for a lounge).

That person is always upgraded on CO? as Silver? What route is he flying. When I think about it, is it any different than a CO elite who doesn't know how anything of the elite access system works?

That's the same OP who started the thread here about CO joining the "Star Team Alliance"...and he really, really does not comprehend how to take a joke.

SHHHHHHH.

Don't let the word get out about that "other" airport that's infinitely more convenient to NYC to the CO traveling public.

Oh boy, I have never been so tempted to start a topic. Hrm, I wonder if "LGA-IAH is a better upgrade than the EWR-IAH tease" is a good title? :p:D

Ill keep that in The Box. I am really looking forward to moving closer to LGA. Those 5:45am on Saturday flights should not be as bad now.

I have never missed an LGA-IAH upgrade and I have only missed 2 IAH-LGA upgrades.

It's the only route that I've repeatedly seen open seats up front on CO.

(To be fair, I've missed a couple times. It seems somewhat sporadic.)
