arghhhhhhhh.

This is how I feel this morning too.

And tomorrow's going to be really rough. For some insane reason I booked myself on the 6:35 AM BTR-IAH flight. The ridiculous things I'll do to get a seat in the pointy end of the plane.

Morning, Box! :D

What's so great about SNA? I've got about 12 hours there in 4 weeks.

SNA is an awesome airport to transit. Beats the hell out of LAX, as if that's hard to do. It's also closer to everything. Disneyland in 15 minutes, Anaheim/Garden Grove in 15-20. There's also the aforementioned John Wayne statue. If I had 12 hours to kill, I would be looking into local nightlife - Newport Beach also a good option. SNA will appeal to your inner FTer/aviation geek...it's just a well-done airport.

It's my Friday - 2 workweeks of 3-day weekends coming up, one of which I'll be on a plane for. ^

Yeah, SNA is nice, depending on where you're going.

I hate LAX and avoid it as much as possible.

Going on 5+ weeks without being on a plane.

Looks like the South Africa trip may have gone the way of the Dodo. A new person was hired there and they want me to do the work and turn it over to this person for implementation.

All the while my "boss" is just about to come back from over there after two weeks of "work" (received an e-mail from him before he left for a safari).

The good news is my wife and I found a new place to live. It's still in the Heights but is not a house, more like a condo. It will work for the interim.

If you're going south, it's great. If you have to be in LA proper, Beverly Hills, etc. then the pain of LAX is justified. Orange County, touristy stuff, theme parks, etc. - SNA hands down.

8 more days until I return to the wonderful world of flight. Chance also look good for travel in the pointy end.

Glad to hear you guys found a place. Hopefully it has power... ;)

I'm stuck in the back, but I don't care. Short flight and the purpose is hockey. Devils open at home tomorrow night.

LAX can be a pain, but I love all of the wide bodies from the foreign carriers. I was like a little kid when I connected to AAEagle for the cruddy flight to SAN and we took the shuttle bus across the tarmac next to the active taxiway.

SNA is a great lil airport and amazing convenient for Orange Co and points south. It is one of the airports that I hope we get non-stop service from CLE sometime during future growth.
