I use a corporate AMEX card and have a corporate AMEX purchasing card. Are there any programs I should enroll in to get miles on company charges?

My mom has a Corporate Amex for her work , She earns Membership Rewards points ( Most of them go to her boss ) that transfer to many airlines .

I am still slightly hesitant to use Deluxe Rent-A-Car of LAX. I feel as if they might be some fly by night company, but I do not know anything about them. Is it worth it to rent from them and save about $130? My entire rental will come to about $72 all in. I reserved a Toyota Corolla, which they advertise as getting 37 mpg’s. At 6’5”, I am not sure that is such a good idea though.

I do not know about Deluxe, however I did try Fox Rent-A-Car once. This was in PHX. The biggest problem with them was that I waited over 1 hour for the pick-up van to come and get me. If I had known where their office was, I would have taken a cab. Furthermore, the little companies are pains because they make you get your fill up within 1 mile of the office and prove it, and have a ton of paperwork which takes forever to fill out. Finally if you ever break down, watch out.

I figured it was worth the extra $5-$10 to just go with a national company.

Does anyone know if LAX-GRU on KE is bookable with CO miles?

I don't think that one was loaded in yet, but that was a while back.

He should try to enroll the Corporate card into Membership Rewards. It'll cost him a little money but it is worth it if he has any reasonable level of spend. I don't know that purchasing cards can be enrolled but I don't think they can.

Thanks, fellas. He's plenty proud, but it's sadly ironic that he can't attend the event as a guest that he pushed me to participate in. Burying your wife outranks pretty much anything, so I can't say that I'm upset in the least over his non-attendance.

My condolences as well.

but he has a gazillion Amex Pts and many  Points

Business and purchasing cards can earn, but I thought it's company discretion as to whether they enroll the cards or not, and moreso if employees keep the points.

Hmmmm...in that vain, I wonder where Zagat sends all of the OpenTable points they get.

+1 - you would think they would at least a few mile/point nerds there, what with all the travel they likely do.

Assuming I can ever find Standard reward availability on DL, that's excellent news. I'll be ecstatic the day I can finally use CO miles to redeem for a flat-bed seat on IAH-AMS.

Im not sure it will be the seats you flew on the 77L, I believe they are the other flat bed seats that they had announced for the 767s

ETA: I found the DL 767 BE seats

I need help.

The box is not the place to get help, we'll just encourage you (to jump off the Ben Franklin Bridge - ;) ). Isn't the ATL-PHL segment on an RJ? I thought US flew EMB 175s or 190s on this route. If 190, then ^. If not, then :td:. Though, US 175s aren't that bad, as I have experienced on the PHL-IAH route.

To compete with AF, perhaps?? Apparently AF is going to only fly JFK-LHR for a while instead of LAX-LHR. Supposedly only for the winter, but who knows.

AF is transferring the slot to DL for the 3rd JFK-LHR
and they will code share , 2 flights on DL metal and 1 on AF
