I guess that will help when CO joins *A.

Assuming the whole ballgame doesn't change after alliance re-alignment.

Yesterday I mentioned that some coworkers and I picked-up a bunch of velvet paintings at a thrift shop. Today's find was a picture of Kramer.

It's now hanging in our main meeting room. @:-)

If I have a chance I'll take a picture and post it.....

New Mexico was actually part of my very first vacation — at age 18 months or so. I'm pretty sure it's the first state outside of Texas I ever visited. Of course, I don't remember any of that.

My partner has never been there, so we've mentioned it as a potential weekend trip sometime. Unfortunately, ATL-ABQ fares are a lot more than HOU/IAH-ABQ fares, so it's not as affordable as a quick get away as it was when I lived in Houston.

I doubt I could ever live there, but parts of the state are nice to visit.

My opinion of New Jersey is that every time I'm there I try to get away as quickly as possible. Those NJ Transit trains between EWR and Manhattan can't drive fast enough.

The best thing I can say about the state is that it's nice and small and you can get to much better places in a relatively short amount of time.

Going to be harder once you and the missus are hitched?

I just got off my first flight in CO mainline Y since mid-April. Only my second missed upgrade on CO/NW this year, and the first missed upgrade on a 738 or larger aircraft in nearly 12 months.

I'm pleased to say it wasn't that bad. The worst part was me knocking over my Diet Coke can shortly after lunch and spilling half of it in my lap, which was followed by me doing a walk of shame down the aisle to the lavatory looking like I'd just wet myself to get paper towels to try and dry off as much as possible.

See, this is why CO should make sure I'm in F, especially when I've had less than five hours of sleep the night before. I'm tired, it's cramped, and I'm going to make a mess of myself and their airplane.

Too add to the injustice, this IAH-CLE flight in Y is sandwiched between two Chautauqua flights, the first of which was on an ex-Comair CRJ.

That's the blessing and the curse in being here - I'm a little over an hour from Philly, 2.5 from NYC, and 2.5-3 from DC. You have the best of nearly everything with no need to fly. But with the corruption, property tax situation and over-regulation of damn near everything, it's hard to want to stay here.

The fiancee and I were both asked for resumes by a friend of my mother's who is the Director of Marketing for the Bethlehem Steel casino project. The cutie part is that his wife is Director of HR. If we go there, the distances for Philly and DC will be the same, and shave an hour from NYC. Cost of living will also drop dramatically.

Did anyone know that the recent CO/Chase deal was in part collateralized by the LHR slots? I found that quite interesting and don't recall reading that on FT.
