Yes; I've gotten their versions for mechanical delays for both domestic and int'l and compensation varies. Last month; Int'l delay of 3 or 4 hours (I'm not rememebering exact amount) - received meal voucher (again, don't remember exact amount - perhaps $40) and then the BF Concierge came on with a $300 voucher before takeoff. The domestic ones are a comment card; drink coupon and $$ off voucher depending on ticket value.

Thursday Afternoon Glare
I'm off to watch my son and his Frosh football team play this afternoon.
Keep your fingers crossed that they will somehow get their first touchdown of the season. Of course I'm hoping it will be my son that crosses the goal line since this is his first time in the starting lineup. He's a wide receiver and played well in the last game. |

Should I book a refundable ATL-IAH one-way on US/UA in F that involves 4/5 flight segments to get me back to Texas for Thanksgiving? It's refundable and would get me very close to renewing my UA Premier status. And despite several US segments, it's all in F, it books into A class so there's a lot of bonus RDMs and EQMs, and I'd get to fly my first A-321.
Price is in the low $400s. |

And yes, it has to do with Ike and renting. Basically my landlord will agree to reduce my rent for October by $100 for significant damage but without a written agreement (because his wife disagrees). I feel uncomfortable with this arrangement. |
