It still had a few seats available, so the gate agent put my family on it. I missed what would have been my first DC-10 flight for what became my last CO 727 flight. At the time I wasn't very happy about that though, as I'd just flown a CO 727 a few days earlier, and I really wanted to get on the DC-10.

I got my MD11 checkmark on my first TA trip (in J of course) on LH when I was, I think, 12.

I'm actually staying at the Hard Rock on that rip as well. Looks like we're doing the W for 2 nights, Sheraton La Jolla for 2 nights then the Canuck leaves and I'm at the Hard Rock for work (not. my. choice.) for 3 nights. It's not a mattress run, it's a "well let's stay downtown for a couple nights and then let's stay out by the beach and relax for a couple nights." ;)

Canuck loved the idea.

I also had a World MD-11 do the JFK-ATH and IST-JFK lines on my FM. That was charter air for a Greece and Turkey cruise. I'm missing an A321 and I refuse to fly US to get one. I still, surprisingly, do not have a 767 or 777. All of my overseas trip were on either 744's, DC's or MD's...and according to my mother, we did a CO 757 to ORY.
