HS Scott! That's awful! I'm not counting on you getting anything back, but the best of luck with your insurance companies. :(
OMG ---- Guess who I just got a call from. The guy in Seattle that has my bag. Says he is a cab driver and got the bag because of a guy with no money for a fare. I said oh... take to the airport and drop off at the CO counter as I have PC tags and they will return to me. He says, what about a reward? (I should say he said that he would need a CC for money to be paid. I dont know if I should trust him or what? Kinda hard to do when he ask for cash before he sends or drops bag) I have called the Police in Seattle and reported this as well. Now I am just pissed. |
Does anyone happen to know the flight that left outta E-21 yesterday morning about 7 to 8 am? I forgot to get the aircraft number from my red eye going into that gate.

Decisions, decisions...
IAH-ORD-CLT-BNA Q-UP on UA for ~$600, 11K BD EQM, and some SPG Credits towards the 4Q 25K 10-Stay Bonus IAH-MIA-MGA (or SDQ) Q-UP on AA for ~$850 and a ride on an AB6, and some BA miles/TPs IAH-PTY for ~680 in coach on CO (and hopefully an EUA), for a country I really want to visit, and some SPG credits towards the aforementioned bonus |

I'm not one to have much faith in humanity, but when I was in SFO (the city, not the airport) over the summer a friend left her iPhone in a taxi. The driver tracked us down about an hour later (my friend hadn't even realized she had lost her phone... yeah... one of those nights), returned the phone and refused a tip. I met him outside and gave him a solid spot for the wallet because he made my friend the happiest girl in San Fran that night and that was worth the world to me. Karma works. |

I hope... I am trying to stay positive.... I just needed to get off the phone with him... talked to him for about 9 minutes. He said he got the bag because he was stiffed on a cab fare. I could then give CC and he would return bag in exchange for me paying the fare.

Should I REVUP for my HNL-IAH flight tomorrow? I'm on CO2, the 7:55pm departure and pretty much all I'm going to do is sleep, likely drug-induced. I've got seat 10L on the 762 which is not horrible (bulkhead window), but the flight is showing R1 from KVS right now. Decisions, decisions.
Oh, and the REVUP would be more than the fare I paid for the ticket in the first place. :D |

Having just done a HNL run, i'd say go for it. I was able to change to HNL-EWR-ZFV on the return and the REVUP was the best money spent in a while. I slept like a log and the service was some of the best BF/First service i've had in quite some time. Even the food was better than most of the food i've had lately on CO.
The agent was pretty confused when I asked for a REVUP seat. She started with "HNL isn't available for free upgrades" and followed up with "so you want me to sell you a BF seat?" Finally, after mentioning "GG REVUP" she seemed to figure it out and process it. She also mentioned that it was the first time that a customer had told here where in the system to look for something, so that was fun. Now I have to see if I can try for the 12-hour standby change to the EWR flight and keep the rev-up. That would get me the longer flight, actually get me home instead of to Philly and be all around a better deal, except that I'd forgo a few miles. |

How much do you need the BD miles , it really comes down to that since you will be getting SPG from either.

I just about grabbed the CO.com special for YVR for this weekend but just couldn't get it to work :(
Some of the other fares showing up on the homepage aren't bad (DCA-SJO for $200). |

Well, 'tis early in the season for BD (for me, at least). However, it is always nice to get past the 55K Status Mile hump ASAP. Actually, I'm now considering IAH-YYZ-YHZ for ~$460 in coach on AC. This trip is for my annual Thanksgiving Study Holiday, and I think the dreary surroundings of Halifax in November might be conducive to staying inside and getting lots of work done.

This person (cabbie or otherwise) is still in possession of stolen property and he's attempting extortion. And me thinks he's trying to make you a victim of something far worse than a simple European carry-all snatching. A what? A European Carry-all. A what? A purse! Contact the Seattle PD. |
