Man these agents are annoying. The first wanted to check with a supervisor to make sure that a voucher could be used on the ticket because all the segments are in F. This second guy is a bit better (and even thanked me for being a *G) but I can either got to the airport tomorrow or mail in the voucher within 14 days. But I cannot have 14 days to deliver it at the airport. So ridiculously annoying. Looks like I'll either pay the full fare or book it again tomorrow so it is held until Monday so I can do it at the airport.

Is it strange that we're discussing a UA MR/fare mistake in the CO forum?? Then again, chances of someone from UA catching on are lower in here. :D

The assumption that UA cares is a large one, IMO.

You'll also recognize the bag claim area if you've seen Jerry Maguire recently.

In all seriousness, SNA rules. Hopefully it hasn't changed since my last visit: it was clean, nice, and easily laid out.

A truly great airport. And one of the best RCC there is. Way too much UA discussion here ;)

PDX, SNA and OKC will all be new destinations for me. And the SEA-DEN route is new, too. DEN would've been new but I'll be there on Monday on my way back to HNL. I just booked my positioning flight to SNA. I'm flying CO out there from PHL via IAH on Friday night. I think I'll sleep in the airport but not positive. I'm on the same flights as you are for the outbound (via PDX) and then on the OKC-DEN and SFO-SNA flights you are on, going to SEA in between on Sunday.

S.

Who else is going to be there (SNA) that weekend?

It's only nice because it's on the mezzanine level with nice views :D It's actually quite small with limited food. The brand new ORD RCC is nicer, IMHO ;)

I will be there tomorrow morning :D

The only problem I've found with SNA is that you have to use the 405 to get to it. And I hate the 405 with the passion of a thousand fiery suns. Luckily I usually go to ONT rather than having to go to SNA when SAN is not an option.

He also does faux Sangrias. I haven't seen him in a while. Glad he's there.

I forgot to tell the Box that I tried my first Caipirinha the other night at Morton's in MCO - not enough taste IMO...but this coming from a Ketel and cranberry guy.

Any of the ATLers been to Philips Arena? Need help picking Thrashers-Devils seats.

MR BL is trying to talk me into going to Pinehurst for a getaway (no points there, so no attraction for me). He got a deal from Acura and it does look nice but we're already doing a golf trip over Thanksgiving and not sure I want to do two this fall/winter. There is a spa, so perhaps . . .

ConciergeMike Sep 19, 2008 7:55 pm

You can't go to Pinehurst and not play - you know better than that. :D

ETA: Be sure to pick up your US Open 2014 merch.
