ALCO, you are approaching your 3,000th Penalty Box post. I think I may celebrate by having a Belgian beer after work.

So you don't need the  person to go to the airport and sign the bluey

You can't have anyone sponsor you, unless that person is willing to go to the airport with you :p I was telling ALCO to buy 500 milers, which is $$$ for nonelites.

Unless it's dirt-cheap, I'll likely stick it out in Y-. I doubt that a Saturday morning DFW-SFO is going to have very heavy loads. 9s across the board right now.

That looks delicious. And my grill is still accessible. :D

Last time I grilled bacon I had a pretty impressive fire inside the grill with flare-ups. I wonder if I can manage to avoid that with this thing.

Not that I...um...actually thought about.....ya know....making that...or something....

But, I believe that the addition of the BBQ sauce might help with some of the flareups. Once the sauce caramelizes, the delicious goodness...err...bacon drippings will likely not have the same grease fire effect as they would by themselves.

Indeed (or just roughing it in Y-, with a few drinks at the PC and onboard to make it more tolerable).

We can have a contemporaneous, multi-city celebration.

I hope it's not entirely reminiscent of the London Anti-DO. I'm not sure I could handle that kind of hangover again.

Does AA sell 500 milers to non-elites?

Yes, that was rough, but fun and well worth it. Nothing like multiple vodka shots out of frozen shotglasses, combined with Belgian beer from Tesco.

I just changed my Virgin Atlantic upper class reward to the JKF 10:25 departure, now on the Airbus A340-600
