For the sake of FlightMemory for PB:
If you are on a flight, say from LHR-ERW, and it is diverted to KEF for any reason, is it ok to list LHR-KEF-EWR in FM, or should it be the original routing? I haven't been diverted yet, but I was just wondering about proper Box etiquette for such an event. |

ON the other hand I am about to take a 1 hour break and help my parents get their dsl back up at their house.....rearranging all furniture. So from work work, to free work! Then another 12+ hours of real work. |
United status retention buy-up
Did anyone get the email for United status buy-up/fast track for the remainder of 2009, until Jan 2010. Pay $350, get 3P for 90 days (which gets you into E+), fly 7,500 EQMs and qualify for 2P until Jan 2010 or fly 15,000 EQMs and qualify for 1P until Jan 2010.
It'd get me *G status but I'm not sure how much time I plan to spend on Star alliance/United flights for the rest of the year. The only sure itin I have is BOS-DEN. And without any SWUs taking a plunge in the MR pool of United fares could be painful. E+ without AVOD or in-seat power isn't my idea of a relaxing way to fly to Asia. |

Definitely list the routing with the diversion. It can make for fun FM lines. :D

I was reading the panama thread (AKA lenten food issues thread) and it got me thinking. CO no doubt does special catering to TLV, BOM, NRT, PEK, and HKG. Would a few extra pasta/fish dishes be out of the question for friday Central and South American flights?
This and a lot of other events, makes me believe that being anti-catholic is one last acceptable social bias in our society. |

I got that. I can't believe people will pay that kind of $ for 3 months of 3P.
