If you are on a flight, say from LHR-ERW, and it is diverted to KEF for any reason, is it ok to list LHR-KEF-EWR in FM, or should it be the original routing?

I haven't been diverted yet, but I was just wondering about proper Box etiquette for such an event.

Diversions count. If you land, and then take off again, it's a new flight.

Why am I looking you ask? My grandmother passed away. But, even if I did leave tomorrow, I still wouldn't make it to her funeral on time on Sunday. :(

Sorry to hear that photog72.

But how much is a mainstream brand faucet? As long as you go with something more budget than Kohler, they don't tend to be too expensive. Then you wouldn't have to deal with this issue when/if it came up again. Right?

Replacing a tub faucet mounted inside the wall is a major undertaking. In this case it would definitely require cutting out a section of the wall, which has tile on it. No way are we doing that at this point in time.

Now, we hate the tile in the combination shower room/tub area, and have plans to have it redone in a year or two. At that point in time we might very well replace the plumbing, since the walls will have to be demo'ed anyway. But for now, that's not an option.

Ended up doing a similar project from the adjacent room instead of taking out the entire tub shell in my bathroom ...

Replaceing a leaky old bath tub faucet that I couldn't find parts for is what lead me to demo the one bathroom. I figured if I was going though that much hassle I might as well do it all. If I only knew what kind of a hassle it was going to turn into.

best mac and cheese I ever had was at Le Merigot hotel in Santa Monica. Mac and cheese with lobster. It was on the menu as "Grown up Mac and Cheese". I had it for dinner, and it was so delicious I decided to have it for lunch the next day before I departed LAX-EWR. Imagine my horror and disbeleif when the waiter told me it was only on the dinner menu. I mourned all the way to EWR!!

Man and cheese is good, making for someone coming to dinner tomorrow night. When I was in Pebble Beach a few weeks ago I did have a chance to have Lobster Mashed potatoes.

I've been dealing with our own plumbing drama. The builder who converted this old warehouse into loft condos several years ago used some Taiwanese made faucets that are next to impossible to find parts for. Recently we decided we should fire up the whirlpool tub in our master bath, which we've never used, only to find out that we had no hot water flow to the tub. Long story short, the problem is not with the supply lines, but the cartridge in the faucet valve. Had this been a major brand faucet, like a Moen, Delta, Peerless, etc., we could walk into nearly any hardware store, pick up the part, and take it home, and be done with it. But no, this part is so obscure nobody even had it in their catalog. I finally located a specialty plumbing place in New York that has the thing, and have to call Monday to find out how much it will cost, and, provided it's not outrageously expensive, place an order.

I'm sure sfogate's issue is probably not as complicated. Most likely it's not the faucet that needs to be replaced, but a it's a lose connection on a supply line.

That does not sound fun. I fixed the toliet water flow thing a few weeks ago and I thought I was working on something hard!

Photog72 sorry about your loss.

My marriage offer to both you and your partner still stands.
Just think you both could fly for free. :D

Yep, it's just a lose connection but I can't get it tightened enough, yet.

12/22/08 - EWR downstairs...guy walks past the line of several hundred people and in a booming voice over the commotion: "Is this the line for Florida?"

I was going to ask what's on the other side of that wall, but icurhere2 beat me to it. So I'll reiterate that this is something to consider if the part is very $$$. Sometimes it is cheaper and easier to replace the faucet. We did this a few years ago at the cabin - and the "opposite wall" was 2/3 of the way up in a 2-story + open rafters living room. Required a rather tall ladder, but it was easier than tearing out the entire shower.
