I've come across a few of these nomads in my travels. The most amazing was on a longtail boat between ppisland.com and Ton Sai. There was a couple, from Britian :rolleyes: that had been traveling non-stop for 18 months. They had no set agenda they just went where they wanted to go. They'd pick-up work where they could, and when they finally ran out of cash they'd return to Britian where they'd work for a year or two and then go out again until the money ran out.

When I met them they were on their way back to Britian as they had officially gone broke. And, they were fighting.

The other was a Sweedish girl I "met" at the Down Under Bar in BNE. She too was on the last night of a round the world boondoggle. She had some amazing stories (from what I could understand / remember).
