Did anyone else notice that CO.com has started charging for itinerary receipts older than 7 days? I just saw that this morning.

From the website: "To process receipt requests past seven days from the last travel date, there is a charge of $20 per receipt request per person. Only one passenger will be listed per receipt. Receipt requests will be processed within 10 - 14 days. Your delivery options for receipts are web, e-mail, fax and postal mail. All receipts will be delivered via the same delivery option."

I always keep pretty current with expense reports, but that kind of bites - I guess I'll be printing these off as I book them instead of after the trip.

Arggg.

I really, really wish I had discovered FT several years before I did. The U.S. would no doubt have reinstituted debtors' prisons by now had I done so. :D

As do I. I don't think I would be an addict, but more of a recreational user. ;)

You should stop by the IAH E PC. Free drinks and hot showers!

It's on my list for this evening. My flight to ELP isn't until 9pm, so I should have plenty of time.

$20!? I'm sure it's an automated process as well...

I've always just printed the email receipt that I get. Way easier.

Very interesting post, sir ALCO. I like your theories, may I subscribe to your magazine?

Reasons why FT'ers are different than uncontrolled sex addicts let loose in Hef's mansion with a drum of Viagra:
  • For those of you with (or soon to have) significant others/otters - said others/otters disdain for FT is probably much less than a visit to Hef's pad.
  • If you spend more than three hours on FT you don't need to seek medical attention (although daylight might be a good idea).
  • Pamela Anderson is not on the list of FT alumni
  • You can walk after FT'ing and/or MR'ing (unless you're trans-ocean in Y on C:rolleyes:)
  • Not sure Randy could pull off the robe look.
  • Are there females on FT?

In regards to telling your grandkids about the killer MR to OKC -- the best stories I have are ones I can't tell anyone. Especially offspring. ;)

You don't tell your immediate issue the good stories... you save those up to corrupt the minds of your grandchildren, and to undermine your children and give them the heartburn they so richly deserve for tormenting you over the years. At least, that appears to have been my grandparents' philosophy :D

My grandfather was strict Methodist and my grandmother was Quaker. The craziest stories I heard from them related to the night they moved the [separate] beds within 5 feet of each other.

I'm. Not. Joking.

In other news, I know the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree, but if anyone related to me told me a story akin to what I've got in the vault (put away the peach schnapps rolov) I might drown in my own vomit. :o

Although I would be proud of them.

My great-grandparents made their money in Bootlegging, and passed on the legitimate offshoots of that business to my Grands, who themselves were no strangers to the Balinese Room in its illegal-casino heyday, as well as 50s/60s/70s Vegas.

Also, by "corrupting minds," I was referring to gambling/boozing stories. I, too, would likely turn green if I had to hear anything remotely relating to other "corrupting" topics from anyone related to me.

ARGHHHHHHH.

Apparently my memory lasts for no more than a month. Because that's the frequency I go to the all-you-can-eat Indian Buffet.

I've just blocked the afternoon for a meeting in the oval office between now and 5.

And my keyboard smells like chutney. :o

Has anyone ever taken part in the DHS Traveler Redress Inquiry Identity Program? If I send a form with a copy of my passport and drivers license to the DHS I can supposedly be cleared from the No-Fly list in 30-45 days.

Does anyone know if the NWA club at MSP has showers?

fozz Sep 19, 2008 12:10 pm

ok, sorry about my abscense, i was taking my post red-eye nap. :)

sbm12 my flights out of SNA on 11/8 are 322/344/572/414 and on 11/9 1207/347/39/72. Not a single UAX flight! I'm in 1A on all of 'em. :)

Oh, and to answer your question, i just did an ITA search with "sna:: ua ua ua ua+" for the departure and "okc:: ua ua ua ua+" for the arrival and it gave me tons of options.

If I can still find the fare, i'm going to book one for January as well, my requal date isn't until June, so I still have some time. Anyone else have any thing booked out that far?

I personally have not, but it's a long-winded governtmentese name of a program, therefore it must be effective.
