Come out to Alpine, TX. It's cold here. And our training room is in a building they haven't turned the heat on in yet. I'm freezing right now.

Its 67 degrees on my floor in NYC. People are going outside just to warm up. This building never gets it right :rolleyes:

My wife's office is in the 80s in NYC. My office/couch is quite pleasantly in the low 70s since I have the windows open in my apartment. :D

My husband is meeting me in Xiamen, where we'll spend our anniversary. We'll have a day of sightseeing before heading to HKG and back to working again. That's the upside.

My small taste of Asia over the summer was excellent. I can't wait to get to ICN and HKT during the honeymoon. FYI, for all Box Denizens planning honeymoons, there's no quicker way to ensure a huge :rolleyes: than to work the DMZ into your honeymoon. :D

In my case the thought of eloping was discussed quite readily, and both of us were up for it. The problem is that my parents would've insisted on having the reception anyways, so that didn't really get us too much relief and would've caused trouble anyways. So we just sucked it up and made it work.

ICN is a great airport.

My brother just went to HKT and other areas of Thailand and was thoroughly unimpressed, overall. It is, however, incredibly inexpensive.

I wasn't too impressed with all the people trying to scam me in BKK. I'll probably go Total American Tourist on the honeymoon and stick to the hotel grounds in HKT, and just enjoy beach-time.

The Le Meridien Garden Beach on the French Med. is leaving SPG, so I made some changes to the itinerary. I got a letter from SPG claiming the hotel would honor my two-night points reservation. However, I didn't want to run the risk that they wouldn't give me the 1,100 sq. ft. suite I reserved for 24K points a night (am not paying 24K/night to be stuck in a broom closet). Instead, I opted for two paid nights at the Le Meridien in Den Haag, and two nights in a 650 sq. ft. Junior Suite at the newly remodeled Westin Trianon Palace Versailles (only 29K total for two nights).
