Probably.

In my experience, the VS FA's make everyone take the seats out of bed mode for landing.

This is also achievable. You extend the middle seat-belt as far as it will go. The male end can then be lifted up, straight along the seat-back. The fully-extended buckle travels through the center-channel of the gap between seat-cushions (underneath the blanket you laid down). You then lay another blanket on top of yourself, and clasp the two ends together. One of the pillows over the gap where the straps are attached to the seat-frame keeps the straps/metal connectors from chafing. You are then safely strapped (fully-visible to FAs) into a cocoon.

Yes - chafing avoidance is critical in that situation.

They actually made an announcement before they closed the door
saying how "Proud " they were of such certification

I assume you got a good pre-nup with FT and MRs as a requirement for the marriage. I mean if you didnt then perhaps another year of lawschool is needed for you?

God I'm bored. Maybe I should do a train trip with as many segments as possible. Let's see
Princeton to Princeton Junction, Princeton Junction to Trenton, Trenton to Camden, Camden to Lindenwald, Lindenwald to Atlantic City. For the return, Atlantic City to Philadelphia, Philadelphia to Trenton, Trenton to Princeton Jct. and closing it out with PJC to Princeton. Am I nuts?

Not yet.

And I sleep better in a domestic FC seat than I do stretching out in the back on three across.

I have a busy day today before leaving on a biz trip tomorrow and here I am reading about ten pages of Box drivel before finishing up the work. What an idiot.

Did they let people leave the seats in bed mode for landing?

By the time that you get off the SEPTA and NJT locals you will be nuts. A complete basket case.

If I recall correctly, MR BL was able to keep his in bed mode and I woke him up after we landed.

In the upper deck everyone was awake most of the flight , I did not see many seats in bed mode up there
