I don't understand why my clients can't install software updates that take maybe an hour to do before I show up, especially when I told them over three weeks ago that they needed this stuff done before today. As a result, the DBA is cussing and scrambling to get it done before tomorrow morning, my training class ended an hour early, and I'm praying we get through everything we need to get done this week.
Time to head for the hotel. And check out the bar. |

Oh that sucks. I just assumed that it was, since Accor owns it. Not that you'd want to stay in one, but just in case you ever needed a really cheap mattress run to keep your status…

Yeah. They Kettle-proofed the program. However, they forgot to Chav-proof it, as Ibis counts for stay credits.
Of course the Kettles and Chavs probably don't even realize there's such a thing as a loyalty program. |

O.K. here is my HKG flight checklist to survive 16 hours in whY. I think I am going to need a Sherpa.
Am I missing anything?
Change of clothes if you are checking your bag I always carry a couple of packets each of Clorox wipes and wet wipes because you never know when those come in handy All of this can easily fit in your carry on - trust me; you should see what I fly with! SFO Gate has seen my long haul carry ons and it's not pretty ;) |

Sofitel I stayed at is no longer a sofitel It was the Hotel Madero by Sofitel in Argentina, I had like 5 stays there last year, but looking at the website it no longer comes up |

So, I booked two standard domestic rewards. When I pull them up, they both show up as 'Y' class and not GN.
Somehow I doubt this is an "enhancement". Though one can dream. Though, they haven't ticketed yet, one has been sitting there since yesterday. :( |

All I can say is that it's a good thing you're Platinum. And if you ever see this woman standing on the blue carpet, waiting to board, push her out of your way cuz she ain't gonna leave you any space in that overhead! :D
I am going to pack my 22" Atlantic Carry-on inside a 25" Atlantic case and check those. I need to bring the additional bag for gifts and junk I plan to buy. :) I think I will fit all the other junk in a carry-on. I have a medium carry-on sized duffel. Maybe a little tote bag too. I will have to figure this all out. I think I will give my camera case and tripod to a friend traveling with us to carry-on, I know she won't have anything but her purse. |

Yes, but the important thing is, does your carry on fit in the sizer? :D

How do you need so many bags? I travel with 2. My backpack - all camera gear, laptop, books, toiletries - and a 22" TravelPro that hold clothes. Anything else I am either wearing or I leave at home. More than that is too much, IMO. I'd skip on the blanket, pillow and track suit from your list at a minimum. I will travel with cotton pajama pants and a pair of heavy-duty wool socks and wear those to be comfortable, but then I also use them as pajamas at my destination and as socks for my hiking boots, respectively. An outfit dedicated just for the flights is too much. |

They better not even try that sizer crap with me.
Fortunately so far nobody's asked me to put it in the sizer, but I did check it out at an unoccupied gate to see, and it's too big for the sizer. |
