I think it's the only thing MR BL misses about NJ

I always wonder when I see the national average as per AAA when I watch the news. I wonder how it can be that high when in South Jersey we're sometimes as low as 60 cents under what AAA says.

Don't wonder. Just enjoy the only positive thing about Jersey. ;)

I've often wondered why California is always 60 cents higher than the rest of the nation. Even Hawaii has cheaper gas.

When calculating up my EQM’s for the year, I realized that I was going to be short by about 500 miles  I tried calling to see if they would grant me gold based on my 49,500 miles, but the answer was a big NO. So now I am going to CLT on a jungle jet for a whopping $55 each way.

That's not a bad deal to top off an account. I'd prefer something mainline so I can dream of an upgrade, but at least you'll get the EQMs you need.

I'm at 22090 booked, and I need to make a trip to ATL that I'll try for 100% EQMs on, putting me at 23602. I'm really not sure where that last 1400 miles is going to come from yet, but I am sure that I'll find it somewhere. :p

Jersey isn't that bad. Sure it has its negatives, but on the whole its good. I'm not even a native and moved here of my own accord.

The more I travel; I realize Jersey is that bad. But then again you always fall in love with your vacation spots. Ultimately, I see myself somewhere in south fla next year, I hope. Central fla is a possibility also.

Where did you find EWR-CLT for $110?

jrzyshawn Sep 26, 2008 9:14 pm

CO.com of course. They booked into X for 65 each way with tax all in, booked, as one-way tickets of course to maximize the travel club credits.

I am doing this November 1, 2359/2994, which I hope will be the same aircraft so I dont have to worry about a misconnect because I think there is like a 20 minute connection time.

Just a couple of hours out of my weekend. I did almost make a terrible mistake when booking the CLT-EWR segment. I didn’t realize I searched CLE-EWR and almost went though with the purchase.

I just checked and I guess it is a good thing I got in while I did. My flights are now W fare class at $99 each.

CO has screwed me out of 3 travel club credits this month, they didnt post. I called them in and they claim they were purchased though another onepass account

Yeah, looks like the fare you got is gone. That's why I was confused...

It's a combination of the gas taxes and a silly rule that gas that is sold in CA must be refined in CA. So, importing gas from other states is never an issue.

This is why it's such a big deal every time there is a refinery fire or a refinery is down for maintenance.
