CM, we went to the Devils / Rangers game on Saturday (what else was I to do with a house full of Canadians ) and the Devils were looking pretty good. Or, the Rangers looked that bad.

Could have been both - teams won't play the stars (much) this early in preseason, so you may have seen an excellent AAA game. I was going to go into a roster breakdown on both sides, and then realized that the game doesn't count. However, if at any time the Devils look good and the Rangers not so, I'll take it. ^

I have officially lost my mind.

I'm still looking for mileage/equipment runs from EWR or ABE and my top choice (aka cheapest) right now is ABE-EWR-CMH-CLE-ABE. It would get me the remaining miles I need for the year plus a ride on the bus, Q2 and Q4. But, Columbus, OH?!

Other options right now (non equipment runs) include EWR-DFW-EWR and EWR-IAH-MEM-EWR. All 3 options would involve an overnight and up to 24 hours on the ground (assuming DFW or MEM).

DFW isn't bad, I used to live there. From the airport you could take the train to Ft. Worth and check out the downtown there. Or rent a car, the golf is fantastic in the area.

That's a ConUniHound route if I've ever seen one. ;)

rolov, I checked out that site (thanks) and didn't see anything about page inserts. I'll probably just head down to the passport office in NY. I'm sure I can find a way to bill it back to the company. :o

Unfortunately, golf will not be an option on this trip as I left my clubs down in PBI on my last trip. (This could be a good thing for other golfers in the DFW area :D) I will have to take a look at what Ft. Worth has to offer...

Believe it or not, that is part of the attraction. :D I figured I need to get the experience before eventually leaving the NE. Plus, I'd never have to worry about checking to see if my upgrade cleared!

I found a job in Houston that looks really interesting but the travel is listed as 10% and it doesn't say what kind. That is a serious cut in travel for me... hmmm... I wonder if it is a good time to start a new job.

Over the next two weeks, I have four 744 flights, 3 333 flights, five new airports, and one new airline on my list.

Is it even absolutely necessary (they always give me grief coming back into the US 'cause I'm out of space)?

Anyone know how long it takes?

Fastest and cheapest way I've heard of is to do it at an embassy while abroad. Otherwise you have to pay and wait, though I'm sure most of the expeditor services can make it happen a bit faster for more money.

SWEET! ^

Grab the upper deck on any of those 744 flights?

Are you an FM user that doesn't advertise it? You really might want to consider building a map if you don't have one. I found it fun.

Hell yes. I have a bulkhead business class seat on each 744 flight.

I'm acutally in the process of building mine - I started it awhile ago, but only got as far as the last year or so and just have not had time yet to complete it.

That was the cool thing about doing my Couples map...we haven't had extensive flying history together, so it was easy to build and make sure that it was totally accurate. My personal one is a best guess on some frequencies of flights and times. I think I have EWR-FLL listed in there as 9 or 10 times, but in reality it's probably 30...I just have no data for them.

I just had a George Carlin moment..."ever find yourself standing in oneof the rooms in your house, and you can't remember why you went in there?" I just felt the need to go on to Wiki, and I had the intention of looking something up, and I have not a clue what it was.

It will get tougher once I have to start weeding through all the old boarding passes and OnePass statements. Most of the flights I have listed so far are ones that I recall from memory, including seat assignments. I do not track aircraft registration numbers for most flights, but am considering it going forward.
