In addition to many of the things on your list, I'm looking forward to the departing of all of the families in the PClubs as well. ^

I'm bored. Entertain me. :p

I made the mistake of going into OMNI today... Not again for a while, I've had enough.

The completely unwarranted accusations flying on both sides are a bit nauseating today.

Gracias.

We were driving on the NJT yesterday as the SQ 340-5 was coming in for final. It stung just a little. ;)

But, yeah, we had a nice time. Definitely good to get away for 2 weeks.

Im glad to hear that.

That just might get you arrested in some parts of this country... ;)

I'm from SC. I don't know no better.

True story: I, amusingly, dated an Inuit for a few months when I was in college. I don't know what I've been told, eskimo... nevermind. :o

Finally, as of Saturday afternoon, all of my worldly possessions are in my new home, two months after the movers picked them up from me in Houston. Fortunately it's all here, with almost no damage – only slight damage to a coffee table we were planning to sell off anyway. And it's almost all unpacked, with just a little more work to do in the kitchen.

Now if only someone would respond to my Craigslist postings for the stuff we're trying to get rid of.

Just got my 2 first EAUs clear'd at the 5th day on the dot :D ^ :D ^

Not hopeful for the return at A5

Woohoo!

Flights between PHL and IAH can be surprisingly difficult for upgrades. In my experience, Friday afternoons/evenings are the most difficult.

In my experience, Sunday evenings are the hardest IAH-PHL on flight #1776. I believe #1676 is also a hard one to get EUAs on.

Great news, ssullivan! Now you can kick back and relax ;)

Does anyone know if VS codeshares with CO for the LHR-JNB flights? I cannot find the information online and the Elite Desk doesn't seem to have any idea.

It's been a few years since I've been on either of those flights, but, yes, on Sundays, they are PACKED in general, and a very significant number of the passengers are elites.

VS does not codeshare the LHR-JNB flights with CO, as far as I know - it only codeshares flights to and from the US to and from LHR (and a couple to/from LGW). As we talked about earlier, you will only earn CO RDM's, and not EQM's, for your VS LHR-JNB-LHR flights (and you will earn such no matter where you book the flight, i.e., whether with VS or CO). And, you will not earn elite bonus RDM's on any of the VS flights, codeshare or not. It will be worth it, however, to fly Premium Economy rather than regular economy all the way to JNB.

Because, for purposes of CO EQM and RDM earning, it does not matter through whom you book the VS ticket, the best (re easiest) way to book this type of ticket (PE, US to JNB) is directly through VS. When you do so, just add your OnePass number to the reservation.

I wish! Still some unpacking to do, plus a ton of work stuff I need to get done that I somewhat neglected last week while I was busy dealing with the last of the move. The rest of this week is going to be rather busy.
