Oh CM. How naive you are. ;)

Not the first time nor the last that I'll hear that. But in the interest of full disclosure, I haven't been paying hardly any attention to the football season because this is the first year in about the last five that I don't have a fantasy team. I was shocked to turn on SportsCenter this morning and discover that it was Week 13. Without fantasy football, all of my energy went toward hockey.

I say it every year and I'll say it again now: Never Again. Of course, I know I'll have to go back on my word next year, but it is nice to pretend.

I do the same. I'm still feeling very lucky I was able to get home on Saturday night.

I never thought I'd say this in here, but I'd really rather stay home today than travel.

Blasphemy! ALCO I move that Ssullivan's Post Whore title here by be striped and that he not be allowed to post in the Box until he rides on a transcon US in coach on a CRJ in a none exit row as penitence.

J/K :)

sdm1130 unfortunately I never made it to the W to check it out. I ended up staying at the JW since I had a really nice $124/night rate. :)

I've gone to Seoul a few times. Not much to do but shop, alot of shopping. My girlfriend and I did get picked up by some businessmen and they took us out to dinner and then dancing at a hotel. You have to make your own "good time". :D

I too am glad to be home. Last night at MDW was long, though I did get some time to observe the WN ground ops team and they did a great job given the west coast and midwest weather systems that completely hosed their flight ops. Adding the fact that it was Turkey Day weekend and they really had a recipe for disaster. My only complaint was gate changes that were not communicated well, even in the SMS updates about the 3 hour departure delay. Most of it appeared to be solid teamwork, a user friendly GUI to their operations programs and a nice new terminal that made it easier to hold, feed and entertain people who were delayed.

Regardless, it was a long night and I was thankful to have used the new valet service at CLE. My car was waiting and warmed up by the time I walked from Terminal B. ^^

Flying four flights on US and two on UA last week should be enough.

Happy Monday morning! I'm 50% through my work day and it's only 9:15.

This morning I've proceeded to not understand a colleague from the CZ, asked a new employee to help me out with the most banal task in existence (and they were excited to!), and I received an EUA notification on a flight that I purchased less than 12 hours ago.

winner winner, chicken dinner.

The day can only go downhill from here. And I'm sure 2.5 hours on a DL CRJ will take care of that.

Seen the movie 21 lately?

Weird flick. I was kinda cheesed that they modernized it for a screenplay.

Unfortunately The Box cannot be relied upon for daily entertainment as of late.

Yeah, I've notice that too :( And since I'm grounded at home for now, I can't even watch the masses at the airport. I'll just surf some more and see what I can find.

I looked at our resource calendar and found that I am on a large project for the next 8 months with four other people who are in the same field. We have a hard enough time doing our job with two of us on a project, not sure how we're going to handle five.
