Maybe it will recover in the next day or so. I don't need to go north until Friday. :)

Upgrade on the return isn't happening either. 16/16 booked and I'm #4 on the list.

:(

There is an IAH-PBI special this weekend for $179. The flights are semi-full but I could leave Saturday and be back on Monday morning, bright and early for work.

Don't really need the miles for this year as I doubt I'll qualify for Gold in a month.

But it's Florida - wait five minutes, it'll change.

A "cold front" came through last night so we're looking at highs in the mid-60s today! The sun is supposed to come out later but the car arrives at 3p to take me to the airport so the day is basically shot. Oh well...

We'll have to match the timing on one of those some time...

This is my last trip down here for the year. :(

Off to ATL again today. This time, I am determined to make it to the ATL PC. We'll see what happens.

OTOH, after ten days of running around the country, I get back to Florida on the 15th and am done traveling for the year. Just hoping to sit here and soak up the rays.

If it wasn't windy up here yesterday I would have played golf, had I not been busy sneezing constantly because I was cleaning closets. It was high-50's up this way. That's right about the bottom end of my limit for going to play...I would kill for mid-60's.

Any recent experiences on how long it takes NW Flights to credit?

IIRC, usually the Tuesday after your flights.

Thanks. Guess I'll have to check back later today. Still nothing from Thursday and Sunday's flights.

It may be tonight before they credit, but I seem to remember it is usually once a week.

Was thinking about this as people were posting their business/leisure flying habits in another thread.

With many boxers getting married or partnered have any of yall discussed how your travel will continue once the finances are assimulated?

BTW Baglady, have fun on your trip with your daughter!

I subscribe to the "Make hay whilst the sun shines" doctrine. Fly now, think later.

We have agreed to take turns on picking destinations. I'll still do most of the planning, but the choice flip-flops, so long as we're going on the trip together. The honeymoon has been called a mutual choice, which it truly was. After that, it's her turn - the last two were mine. The finance side of it doesn't have set rules (yet) -- I'm pretty sure that we know the brands and properties we like, and they tend to not be terribly expensive.
