Portions of the post that previously appeared in this space have been deleted. I would provide you with a reason why, but doing so would likely be against the TOS.

It is a huge pain! Besides the usual job sites (monster.com, dice.com, hotjobs.com, etc) I have also been researching what large companies are in a certain area and then checking their corporate job site every few days. It's a tedious process to say the least.

Maybe we can compare some notes on job searching this weekend. Or, we could discuss a billion dollar "big idea". :D

What the hell kind of sweatshop do you work in?

My friend owns a few businesses, the largest of which I would venture to guess is much smaller than your company, and even he flies his people to Asia and even Europe in J. They have to fly the cheapest possible J, but they still fly in J nonetheless.

I miss having a grocery stores with fresh tortillas. The fish tacos I'm making tonight just aren't going to be the same with tortillas that were frozen between the factory and the grocery store. :(

There's a company here in Houston, that shall remain nameless, that is quite large, and I know for a fact that their people fly to Europe and Asia in coach unless they are using miles or $$$ to upgrade themselves. Their CEO wouldn't fly that way, but the people working for him are to fly in the lowest class of service available.

Sadly my cheap company has a standing policy that all international travel is in coach unless a VP approves it. In their brilliance, this even holds true when J is cheaper then coach.

I should probably join the club and start looking for a new gig.
