I think you gave notice at the Astros DO, or at least were talking about it. :D

I have seen the Significant Otter show her displeasure, albeit much deserved. Sister has it down! ;)

Random CO flight stuff....
On Thursday(10/23/08) evening I was scheduled on CO 479. I was in the PC at 6:55 pm when I got the following Flight Alert:
At 6:55 pm/23OCT, CO1479/23OCT from IAH gate C41 is scheduled to depart at 9:00 pm and arrive into SAT at 10:02 pm. Info subject to change. I proceeded to the desk to ask about the delay when she mentioned that the flight was boarding and that I better hurry as I would be losing my upgrade if I didnt make it in 5 minutes. Once I boarded, it was then that I noticed that I was on flight 479 but got the trip alert for 1479. Last Night (Friday, 10/24/08) I received the following email from CO: You've been upgraded from San Antonio, TX (SAT) to Houston, TX (IAH - Intercontinental) on Sun., Oct. 26, 2008. Your new seat is 6C. Below is a recap of your flight information: When I went online it showed the first class cabin, but when I went to pick a seat it would not allow me to pick a seat in the FC cabin. Then today, it only shows the coach cabin. I should mention that when I got the notice that I thought it was odd as the 733 doesnt have a row 6 in FC. It will be interesting to see what finally happens on this. Lucky I only have two - one hour flights so not a bad night to be in coach. |
Am I still eligible for an EUA if I am travelling with an infant in my lap?

While the CRJ was being de-iced this morning after we pushed back from the gate, I heard the following conversation from the passengers in the row behind me.
"Now why are they washing the plane?" "I don't know Myrtle 'cause it looked clean when we got on it." "Well they need to rinse that stuff off because it's gonna streak." "Uh huh. Them boys need a lesson in how to wash heavy equipment right. They musn't have worked on a farm." |

Just saw the huge Antonov taxiing around the field here at IAH. What a monster.

De-icing are we there already??? damn
The plane had been sitting there overnight, and had obvious frost and ice on the wings. Given the fact that a fully loaded CRJ seems to use every inch of the runway to get off the ground at LBB, as far as I was concerned they couldn't put enough de-icer on that thing. |

Nice! ^ How did you pull that one off? Are you flying VS UC out of EWR? How's the VS lounge there?

Sweet... I have a witness! :D
FWIW, I got a similar Whiskey Tango Foxtrot back in late January when I told my other half that the reason I couldn't come to Atlanta on a certain early February weekend was because I was flying IAH-SLC-ATL-MSY-ATL-SLC-IAH over a two day period just for the miles. Since then I haven't really booked any mileage runs. Of course buying a condo, moving, and spending money on renovations and new furniture has also kind of trimmed the discretionary flying budget in recent months. |
