From the DL lounge thread...

It seems the hardest core group all came over from the CO forum? Why is that?
Apparently he has never visited The Box... :D

I wish CO was more competitive with their NYC-IAH pricing for later 2009.

Check LGA. Generally half the price of EWR and a much easier airport to get around if you're o/d'ing.

I went ahead and booked CLE-EWR-LRH since it was only $530.

Cutting it close with a 1:46 cx time at EWR, but if I miss the the 777 flight, there is a 757 flight a couple hours later.

Strangely, I used my travel bank, and co.com just skipped over the part a cc for the balance. Good thing I called about that... this wouldn't have been ticketed!

For anyone curious about what the ABE-EWR bus looks like...

I was sad to see that there was no CO logo... :p

hahahaha :D

In other news, my car didn't start this morning. It would turn but not turn-over. Doesn't sound like the battery or starter (or alternator), so it may be a fuel pump. Fan-freakin-tastic.

Yes, a short bus with a flight number. What is this world coming to?

One of the passengers was clearly intoxicated - that was fun.

I don't know, the clientele (with the exception of the drunk guy) made it feel more like a seniors bus.

No wonder CO's "hours" for serving supper are from 5:00 PM to 5:05 PM.

How many people were expecting a plane and were confused when they got onto a bus?

Was this a dinner or snack flight.

Fuel pumps are expensive.

Surprisingly, no one. There were only 8 of us and the bus seats 20 (maybe 21, I forget if there is an extra seat in the last row).

No snacks or drinks (obviously). :p

I did and it was $400 a/i on CO and $260 a/i on AA.
