We visited Sonoma a couple of weeks ago on a mission to buy a wedding present. There was a huge fire north of Napa blocking the way to our favorite winery. Otherwise, we would have bought a case of wine for our friends.

I'm not able to pull my reservation up on continental.com. Anyone else having trouble?

Stop at the Opus One winery and buy the "Overture"
It is pretty much the Opus One that did not make the cut for the year and it is very good and very reasonably priced , It is only sold there. If all goes well with the BRU Pub Crawl, I think our next international gathering should be in a location where lots of good wine can be consumed. France, Italy, Spain, and Australia all sound like wonderful options! |

No problems here.

The insurance adjuster finally came to look at our house (Ike hit on September 12-13). Looks like a new roof may be coming our way. Then again, that will be what we need, since this past storm dropped a couple inches into our attic.

Definitely recommend Napa. We enjoyed the standard Mondavi tour a few weeks back, as well as the Goosecross winery (near Yountville). ^ to Napa.

Has anyone ordered the personalized PClub luggage tags? What were your thoughts on the quality?

I can't fit Opus One in to this trip, but I'll be sure to remember this for the next Napa visit.

sdm1130 - FYI Opus One is on the same road as Mondavi. If you happen to pass by, a 5 minute stop in the store there is well worth it . Tours have to be scheduled in advance , but you can get wine at the store all day long.
Also There is a great little restaurant in Yountville called Hurleys with indoor and outdoor seating when its nice out. |
Looks like my EWR-BZE fare droped again over night to $150 a/i. With my Plat bonus it almost makes it worth it but to go by myself would be a waste. Also, I dont have to hit 50k on AA to keep Plat. All I have to do is maintain Gold on CO and spend 20k on my Merrill Card to get the annual status match.

Have lunch at Bouchon if you can fit it in. Don't bother with trying to score a table at TFL.

Did you cover the hole? My insurance adjuster told me it was our responsibility to cover any damage with a tarp or they would not cover subsequent water damage. So put a tarp up asap.
